One of the older games but one of the best horror games i've ever played, Penumbra (1 and 2).

Alien Isolation as well, another horror game which is amazing.

Trails in the Sky for JRPG fanatics, one of the few i've liked recently

Transistor (makers of Bastion) and of the underrated games out there.

Portal 1 and 2 if you haven't played them.

Finally, Just Cause 2.

Recent EA games have been pulled out of Steam because EA has its own shit service called Origin, its clunky af and unresponsive (bought ME3 3 times because the complete order button wasnt responding)

no inquisition but u can buy that for ps4 anyways

I've got a pirated copy of trails in the sky on my PC

RG see if Valkyria Chronicles is on Steam, should be

game has a lot of hype and praise, another game I have a copy of but haven't played yet

didn't they release shadow complex for free a couple of weeks ago until the end of the year

had it on xbox 360 I think but saw a headline like that recently

same with Transistor, RG should have that as a PS+ freebie already

ES I've heard that Ys series is great, same makers as the Trails in the Sky series I believe? they're on sale I think

Haven't tried Ys, but i will do once i finish Trails SC

Not sure if @GonnerJay29 tried Ys, was speaking with him the other day about Trails

Playing trail of cold steel atm, not as good as trail of sky but still very solid, one of the most underrated rpg series, nothing can top Joshua & Estelle writing. Ys is another solid series although their 1st and 2nd games are quite dated at this time.

Tbh you can't go wrong with Falcom, better than Square for me.

Dragon Age Origins is amazing. It's final act is everything Mass Effect 3 should have been. It's pretty old now but I played it with mods this year and had a great experience.

For you since you already have Skyrim and BioShock, I recommend Dragon Age Origins, ME 1 and 2, Alan Wake, Dark Souls Life is Stange.

If you wanna get Hitman, don't bother with Absolution. Silent Assassin and Blood Money are much better. You like challenges in games, just try getting the best ranking in some of the missions in Hitman. Know that I did manage to do so in the hardest difficulties

I bought the Orange Box btw for $4.99 (Half Life 2, HL2 Ep 1, HL2 Ep 2, Portal, Team Fortress 2)

I seem remember Dragon Age Origins being free on Origin... At least that's how I got a legit copy


As for recommendations during the steam sale:

South Park: Stick of Truth wont leave you with regrets (€7.50)
Transistor would also leave you with no regrets €3.75 if you enjoyed Bastion (Also 3.75€) - Highly recommend these two
Alien: Isolation isn't too shabby for €13
Super Meatboy for €1.39 did you think you were good at platformers? That's too bad.
Tomb Raider for €3 is worth a try
Fallout New Vegas for 2.49, Yes pls.
Magicka at €2.50. Buy 4 copies, play it with friends and experience the meaning of "not sure if pvp or pve". If you don't you are missing out as much as Mole missed out on actually playing Journey and not just watching it. Then he ascended

When people recommend you to buy multiple copies of a game, it's a damn good game.

That would be my holiday recommandation this season; buy multiple copies of Magicka and experience Midgard.
