It won't happen like that, but I do rate Neves, so I'd love to get him.

So, despite Shakhtar's manager coming out and saying that Alex Teixeira won't be sold this month, the Metro and DailyStar are both reporting that we're closing in on a 30m deal for him. Laughing

Also, there are rumours we want Carlos Bacca from Milan and are willing to get the deal done this month.

60m pounds for both, and neither would improve us that much. Laughing

Guus wrote:"At this moment, no. He [Remy] will stay until the end of the season."

"I'm curious. With this multitude of games I hope Remy picks it up. Although he was only in training this week I hope he will deliver if he is needed. We have Costa and him, so I hope they stay fit. That's why I hope he can make his next step and get even more fit."

"We must not go into this danger if something happens with one or two striker."

"The window opens and the mouth shuts so we don't have interest in this moment."

"We are thinking. When you think, you don't speak normally. If, suppose something is going on, it can be harmful when you go public."

So we're not chasing anyone presently, and Remy is staying.

I really wish we were at least after a FB.

ESPN are reporting that Lavante and Hamburg want Atsu on loan.

While Spanish media are reporting that Chelsea, Man U and PSG are all after Toni Kroos.

ESPN Brazil are reporting that we are closing in on Pato, and the Independent say we are looking at Charlton youngster Lookman.

Apparently we've had scouts watching Scott Dann everytime he has played this season. He is seen as our JT successor according to the Mirror. FFS Laughing

Bild are reporting we're considering swapping Ramires for Gundogan. THAT. WOULD. BE. AMAZING.

Finally, the Corinthians head coach expects the Pato saga to be wrapped up within days. Whether or not that means anything for us, I do not know.

James Rodriguez is our of favour and apparently unsettled at Real, why are we not all over him?

He can play on the wing or in the center for us, ffs.

BILD are reporting we're interested in Granit Xhaka.

I'd take him over Ramires.

I doubt it, tbh.

I'd rather use Bran there and play Aina or Baba Rahman.

Well yes Bran moving to CB needs to happen sooner than later, seeing him get turned inside out every week is killing me.

Rahman defo needs some more game time.

Alexandre Pato to Chelsea: Corinthians striker set for £11m switch in time for debut against Arsenal
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/alexandre-pato-to-chelsea-corinthians-striker-set-to-sign-in-time-for-debut-against-arsenal-a6820831.html
Chelsea are set to complete an £11m deal for Alexandre Pato by the end of the week in order for the striker to make his debut against Arsenal on Sunday.

The Blues have been in talks with Corinthians for weeks as they look to strengthen their attack, and according to the Evening Standard, some players in the dressing room believe Pato will make the switch this week.

Chelsea have problems up front, with Radamel Falcao sidelined with a thigh injury and first-choice striker Diego Costa suffering a bruised tibia during the 3-3 draw with Everton at the weekend, making him a doubt for the clash with Arsenal.

That potentially leaves Loic Remy as Guus Hiddink’s only fully fit striker.

Hiddink last week appeared to rule out a move for Pato, but may now be forced to change his plans. Pato is known to be eager to return to Europe – preferably the Premier League.

I think it's BS.

We will critically need a replacement for Djilobodji. There's absolutely no way we can cope going forward with the hole his potential departure would leave in the squad.

Yes. It's a monumental gap the departure of this titan will leave behind. Absent a replacement I'm fully anticipating relegation.

I guess it confirms John Stones arrival. Alas, you cannot compete with the money powerhouse of Werder Bremen.

The biggest and best players do by and by tend to migrate to the biggest and best clubs. It was always bound to happen. We knew the instant we landed his coveted signature that this moment would one day arrive.
