Chelsea's Oscar
It is said that Juve are after Chelsea's Oscar.
What do you guys think? Would he strengthen your team? Do you think he is being misused at Chelsea and that he will prove his real potential at Juve?

Re: Chelsea's Oscar
For a relatively good price, it is very possible. Chelsea will sell.
He has underperformed and has been considered excess baggage for the past two years now.

I am thinking more along the lines that We won't front the money for some reason and also the oil clubs can push up the price or get him for there bench simply if they feel like it.. he would make us a contender for the CL trust me.. but i just can't see it happening

Re: Chelsea's Oscar
No one wants him except Juve and maybe PSG at the moment.
I really feel that Juve has a real shot, they can do an exchange with Pogba and Chelsea can pay the difference.

Re: Chelsea's Oscar
If we still had the team we had last season, Oscar would probably boost us to a consistent CL competing team. Now I don't know how much of a difference he would make in a disfunctioning Juventus ![hmm](/users/3313/22/97/24/smiles/2238782717.gif)

Juventus has been linked with him for a year or so.
He would fit, Juventus need a creative type in the middle

Would be good for Oscar IMO. Surely there's a great player somewhere in there. Maybe he can come out at Juve.

Re: Chelsea's Oscar
I don't know what Juventus is planning
But I would go for GUNDOGAN not for OSCAR
because we already have advanced players like POGBA, DYBALA

I think Oscar would be a good signing
Other rumours are Lavezzi/Iturbe

Re: Chelsea's Oscar
Overrated.I can't believe they were asking 40 mln for this guy. He's worth 20-25 mln imo.
Anyway like i said he is overrated and I don't expect him to have an huge impact in our team.
We should aim for someone better, Gundogan,Isco...but we aint gonna save money for them, see us end up with Lavezzi and some random mid from Serie A like Soriano,Saponara

Re: Chelsea's Oscar
I would take Oscar, I feel as though he's a good player. I'm not sure whether he's being played in the right position at Chelsea, but I think he's a good CAM. Out of the available CAM, he'd be one of the ones I would take, maybe Alex Teixeira is an option, but I don't know how creative he is.

I don't think you quite understand Oscar, mate.
He wouldn't steal the limelight from these players but instead, he'd make them play better.

I think Oscar would actually do quite well at Juventus, both in fit and quality. I would welcome the signing

Re: Chelsea's Oscar
Why you say i dont understand OSCAR
I understand OSCAR
He is a playmaker
He has good through balls , good team work
He would sure improve the team
I just think we are more desperate about a player who can add more depth because we already have advanced players who can create chances somehow
We have DYBALA, CUADRADO, HERNANES, POGBA
These are our " creative " players
Replacing one of these guys with OSCAR would maybe improve the team but we have KHEDIRA injury series that sure needs to be approached so that is why i say i would go for GUNDOGAN

I dont think he is overrated because that is how the market goes these days when you want a fresh player like ISCO, OSCAR
30 million is the average price for 28 years old player who already passed his best days like VIDAL
A fresh player around 24 years old is sure 40 million worth if he is top club level

1. JUVENTUS doesn't want to sell POGBA
and the problem is that when someone doesn't want to sell a player normally you shouldn't try to buy otherwise you will have to deal with EXTREME PRICE so you can convince the other to surrender on the player that they don't want to sell
2. if CHELSEA wants to sell OSCAR Juventus should simply bid something about 20 million and see if that works if it doesn't work they should search for other options like CANDREVA, GUNDOGAN, XHAKA
PS: JUVENTUS doesn't need to spend extreme money on players that clubs doesn't want to sell them

Re: Chelsea's Oscar
This whole situation created this summer is having intercourse with my mind, seriously.
If we go for Oscar, or anyway a player that plays as a CAM would mean that we will "keep" 4-3-1-2 as our main formation which would leave no room for Cuadrado. And I think to myself, ok, fair enough, he doesn't fit in our formation anyway. Recent rumors though are saying that we are actually planning on buying Cuadrado instead of a CAM, which would also force us into buying more wingers to permanently switch to a 4-3-3 and that also brings the question of WHERE THE F is Dybala going to play in that formation.
Seriously, with the players we have, the only formation that would allow everyone to play on their preferable position is 3-5-2 which simply doesn't work.

Well, 4-3-1-2 could still work. Cuadrado could hold one of the 3 central midfielder roles and just given a sort of "free" role
For example
Morata-Dybala
Oscar
Pogba-Marchisio-Cuadrado
Evra-Chiellini-Bonucci-Lichtsteiner
Buffon
Oscar
Pogba-Marchisio-Cuadrado
Evra-Chiellini-Bonucci-Lichtsteiner
Buffon
Or else we can always see a 4-4-2 (diamond or flat)
There's a lot of possibilities for formations, if the manager and personnel is creative enough
A creative midfield is an absolute must in any case. I think that's the missing piece

Oscar would add that extra work rate.
The box to box role would be very familiar to Cuadrado since it's similar to playing as a wing back where you basically have to cover the whole flank.
Morata and Dybala both on their preferable positions.
I like it.
The only thing I would change in that line-up is the defense where I would drop Chiellini for Barzagli.

Re: Chelsea's Oscar
If you buy Oscar now, he wont help you in the CL, but he will in Serie A
But at least he will use the rest of the season to galvanize with the team and juve system and be ready to rock next season.

Re: Chelsea's Oscar
I don't rate him that highly
However I'd say it's more realistic for Juventus to get Ramires, Mikel or some backup fringe player from Chelsea than a fairly established player like Oscar.
Juventus' terrible transfer decisions over the summer has put me into a position of skepticism as to whether the club can actually attract established players of international calibre.
