Stopped watching the show after fall half season. They need to cancel this garbage already.

this whole season[prior to finale]could have been some 90 minutes movie ffs

the episode wasn't bad but meh

also predictable AF, actually now I think about it the episode was absolutely terrible shootout went about as expected with plot armor characters

Haven't watched in a while. Show was amazing in the first few seasons, then it got repetitive and stale. They basically follow the same formula every season. Find shelter, protect it from a heel, move to a new place the following season, repeat.

The actual main storyline never progressed, that was the downfall imo.

It depends what you think "the actual main storyline" is.

If you think finding a cure is the main storyline then you are wrong.

Just feels like there isn't an overarching story. No long term goal or objective. The plot doesn't seem to move forward. The world is overrun by walkers and people are infected, the group have to survive, that's the plot. First few seasons, they survive and go from place to place, that's fine. But then they need to find out why it happened, if it's a conspiracy, is their a possible cure, a higher power etc etc. If that's not what the shows meant to be about, then fair enough, but that's just the way I thought the show would progress when I first started watching.

I'd like to see them at least travel to different locations around the world or in the country instead of being stuck in the woods all the time.

So I'm assuming I picked the best possible time to drop this show.

Only lasted 3 or so episodes into the most recent season and decided *bleep* it I have more petty important things in my life.

Such a shame the direction they went with this show, it booming and becoming AMC's biggest commercial show was one of the main reasons as to why its quality dropped.

I'm honestly shocked anyone still watches TWD. Everyone I know that used to watch it has quit. AMC should have axed the showrunners a long time ago.

The war with Negan is supposed to be the best part of the comics lol, that's why I kept watching but after the last season I gave up. Complete butchery of the best part of the comics.

And some people complain about D&D's job with Game of Thrones, they should try The Walking Dead if they want to know what shitting on original content really means

How was the premier?

average, wasn't bad but it certainly did nothing to get me hyped for the season ahead

i feel like the show is just phoning it in nowadays, need the Saviors arc to be over and done with so we can move on

Can't make myself to watch this. If I do want to watch it, it's for Rick but he comes in for like 10 minutes and rest is full of terrible characters i couldn't care less about.

Heard comics are stagnating as well because Kirkman is out of ideas.

Have not watched it yet but I do think this will be better than last season because All Out War is one of the best storylines from the comics.

dropped. will go back to it if I hear good things in the future.
