Re: The Walking Dead III
They are trying to make us believe it's Daryl that's gone
*bleep* right off AMC, I don't believe it. Smokescreen for anybody but Daryl.

I am sure it's Abraham since he is the right hand man for Rick in the comics. Either way I hope it's Sasha since I don't want to see either of Abraham or Daryll to go

I stopped watching TWD a long time ago, but I'd like to comment on the teaser RG posted: there's blood on Rick's right cheek, shouldn't that be a clue that whoever died was sitting right next to Rick?

He was beaten by Negan so it's from that I think.

looks more like splatter from someone to his right catching a bat to the face.
IIRC Maggie and Abraham were directly next to Rick and then Michonne after them.
I doubt it was Maggie as Glenn wouldn't have just sat there quietly through it and vice versa.

I swear if we don't find out who it is in this first episode, I'm done watching.

Can confirm episode 1 is dedicated to Negan henchman #6's backstory.

Re: The Walking Dead III
Pretty sure the blood splatter doesn't mean much, Negan hit pretty hard and everyone there is bound to get splattered
No matter what you think of this show, this season should be great.

Nah season before that wasn't that good. But most seasons are pretty great overall.

Wouldn't say whole season was great but the second half was pretty great (until the last 10 seconds, but I'll let that slide...)

Re: The Walking Dead III
I've said this multiple times. From 23 episodes, 12 are based directly from the comics which are the 10/10 episodes and the ones which keep people watching the show. Other 11 or so are filler episodes not canon to the comics which are the not so good ones. If this show had the netflix format or HBO format then this show wouldn't have the criticism it gets from some people.
But this show alone runs AMC and without this they would be a nothing channel. So more chance of us getting 30 episodes with 20 of them fillers than the other way round.
I have no doubt Rick and Negan will blow season 7 away by themselves.

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOLY SHIT SWEEET MOTHER OF GOODNESS.
Best episode since first 2 seasons.
Sooooo many feels. Andrew Lincoln's performance just wow  Maggie's acting was amazing as well.
Negan is the villain we've been waiting for. *bleep* hell took them long enough to get to this good part. Can't even imagine how they are going to wriggle out of this one. Rick is practically left with a bunch emotionally unstable women, a crippled son, a toddler, a fat coward, a spiritual nut job, and a newbie gay guy no one really cares about. All of the strength in the group is gone. He'll have to do all of it himself.
Where is Carol btw? Completely forgotten what happened to her last season.

- Spoiler:
Holy *bleep* shit Glenn's death was brutal. I was literally left speechless. His eyeball was popping out. He was twitching even after his whole head was turned to pulp. Man the brutality and gore they get away with on TV nowadays is still very hard to come to terms with. Not that I'm complaining.
RIP Glenn and Abraham. I avoided spoilers so the Glenn death took me by surprise.
Gonna miss Glenn alot though. Top 3 character in the whole show with Rick and Daryl. Will be missed hugely.

Re: The Walking Dead III
This is precisely why I didn't watch any recaps or trailers.
This episode was pulsating and despite it's brutality, extremely hard to turn away from.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan will make a terrifying villain.

- Spoiler:
- I personally think he should've made Rick take Carl's arm anyway, for the spite of it, but he got what he wanted...or so he thinks.

Re: The Walking Dead III
So brutal, it annoys me with the cliff hanger.
Would have had more impact if they did it at the finale, you kinda expected some of it to happen.

Rick and Negan's actors went HAM
thought Abraham was the most likely person after his arc last season, wasn't expecting them to pop another like a pinata ffs

Can't even say Negan was harsh on Rick and co. after they murdered Saviours in their sleep. Love Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan, what an awesome villain

Holy *bleep* shit.
Probably one of the greatest episodes I have ever seen.
Knew Negan would deliver.
But Rick's acting in this https://i.imgur.com/7wuXfar.png
Couldn't take my eyes away for a second.

Re: The Walking Dead III
That scene where Negan was forcing Rick to chop Carl's arm. I 100% believed he would do it since it happened to Rick in the comics.
Negan makes Governor look like a saint.
When Daryl punched Negan I thought that was it and he is gone. But ffs he survived somehow (for now). Then Glenn Gonna miss him ffs. They actually showed his eyeball popping out ffs.
Intensity of this episode was off the roof.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is amazing. Can't think of anyone who would have pulled Negan off as well as him.
Group looks dead. lost two of the core members. Broke Rick completely.
Love Andrew Lincoln man. Guy is a brilliant actor.
