Gonna be a really tough game

IMO Rakitic will see the bench (rightfully, judged by his performances so far this season). He's played the full 90 on the weekend while Roberto sat out for 90 minutes. I wonder if we're really going to see Alves in the middle and Roberto on the right in this game.

Roberto going to keep Nolito, the best LW in La Liga that Barca can face, firmly in his pocket.

Gumbau wasn't that bad in his minutes

Slow, doesn't really add anything in terms of anything creative or defensively.

Guy should be playing for a club like Girona.

I believe your right, Pique should return.

I would start Neymar as I believe he needs to get into rhythm, which means he needs game time; even if it means we have to put up with his bad form until he reaches his form again. Besides, an out of rhythm Neymar is still more of a goal threat than Munir or Sandro and Celta away is no joke. We need to take them seriously

There is no reason why LE will bench Neymar. More interested in the midfield combination , its not an easy fixture and have to field the best XI.

Also there are total of 4 games in next 11 days.

does lucho need any other reason other than fatigue? did we have any reason to not play iniesta/suarez last game?

idk who'll play but it's definitely not out of the question that Lucho will rest neymar.

Neymar has really grown in quality tbh. Scores a goal, wins a penalty for the 3rd goal yet we say his out of sorts/form despite him playing in only his 4th game this season whilst scoring 3 goals in 5 games including the gamper trophy. Anyway, an out of sorts neymar is still a far better goal threat than most players out there. Btw, theres no way in hell neymar gets benched. Has barely played 4 full games and has scored 2, and has been the best player in 2 of the games. If anything he needs more game time as he's clearly rusty, i mean the guy has barely played since the CA second match and u want him to be benched cause he had a below par game by his standard? Well, if this is an out of form neymar, then my appetite is ready for the season tbh.
EDIT: As if a prime sandro or munir will do any better.

We rested players over the weekend so we can play our strongest 11 this game. Wouldn't be shocked if we rest players again this weekend at home vs las Palmas and then again play our strongest 11 next two games. Kinda makes sense considering the proximity of the games + level of difficulty

Now curious whether Roberto will play RB or Alves.

Rakitic is fatigued which explains his performance's. I think he runs most and that's why he was the most subbed player last season I think. Needs probably couple games off. Would love to see Roberto LB and Alves in midfield.
