I think Collblanc is more about Katallonia than Barcelona though.

I still like Ter Stegen, but like Neuer he is prone to mistakes.

Every goalkeeper is. Especially 23 year old ones. Especially when they aren't playing regularly.

Keylor Navas when he only got a few games from the bench.

Again, what the club wants is not what the fans wanted. The majority of the fans wanted Navas to stay (according to the poll Marca ran anyway), the club clearly had other ideas. You guys act like we are some sort of Zerg hive mind.

Also, Navas put in a goal keeping clinic yesterday so praises are to be expected. Pretty sure when he inevitably messes up the place, you'll see similar threads pop up minus the foul language of course. Also, the creator of this thread was a Cule so...that's a you problem.

only a couple posters wanted DDG, mainly for the hype more than anything, most madrid fans were in favor of navas, the guy is legit it as doc says.

look at De Gea's first season at United, he was riding bench for Lindegard because he couldn't deal with aerial balls with a bunch of players in the box , he didn't really establish himself until Moyes season which was his 3rd season with us . takes time for young keepers adjusting to new leagues and teams.

Just because he is a young keeper doesn't mean he has potential. I've been saying for years, I just don't see it honestly.

Neuer made similar mistakes. I doubt he'll make them forever.

I would love it if he played for Liverpool.

He's still a kid for his position. It's not like you guys dropped points from this so who cares?

I mean it took De Gea what, 1.5 years to settle into United? Reina was the same for Liverpool. A lot of young keepers go through this. So chill.

He's a brilliant young keeper with a lot of potential and one little mistake won't change that.

Let's act as he didn't have a great CL season last season...

I think he is very good, but he has had a few too many mistakes. Needs to improve his concentration. I don't think the rotation policy is doing him any favour also.

I wonder how many people are truly bothered by this mistake.

This is one of those moments where you wonder about other people view on football.

He made a mistake, no doubt about it this time (because the others were not mistakes)...but he wasnt bothered by it at all, he doesnt lack of confidence at all. His reaction to failing on the cross was to come and collect 3 more crosses as soon as he could (minutes after the mistake) and did so with calm and confidence.

I dont think he will be broken by this stuff, including Enrique's ridiculous rotation.

Righto People can say what they like about him but to say he doesn't have a lot of talent is just blind.
