Funny thing is, is that is probably true.  

There is no justification what so ever to have this thread here and the EPL thread in the RB section especially when it was the most popular thread on the site today.

I don't even know who this guy is but he hangs around me like a bad ex-girlfriend.

The fact that the others running this site let them move that other thread because this guy got butt hurt yesterday over the EPL is flat out a joke.

At least try and appear to be somewhat objective, I mean we all know anyone can bash Italy, Spain and Germany with no recourse but to have the same exact thread and premise in one room and the other in another room is flat out pathetic.

Especially when there were 10 pages of the same material already in that thread and had been in the main room for weeks.

Those excuses were not applied to Chelsea yesterday and Arsenal as well despite both starting the season horribly.

It was all " PL " with no actual consideration taken that those two teams are actually struggling in the league as well.

Why should Sevilla and the likes get a pass? especially when a lot of this forum was telling me they was gonna qualify

How on earth are you supposed to talk about a leagues performance in a competition pairing it with other leagues with out discussing the other leagues?

IT had nothing to do with league on league talk as that was the whole point of the thread that the EPL compared to other leagues has been pathetic in this competition.

I think around page 7 is when it really became a La Liga vs EPL thread, before then it was just a thread highlighting the current failings of EPL in Europe.

You can really, by just highlighting their highs and lows. I think it would be pretty easy to just discuss the rise and fall of Serie A on the European stage without discussing any other league.

Of course the comments were going to be "PL ", people enjoy seeing it fail for a variety of reasons. Same thing is happening today with "LOL Liga " . But I think if people were to make a sober analysis the day after they would make those kind of allowances, although I  do think that the quality of the oponent was higher for Sevilla than for either Chelsea or Arsenal.

Anyways let's try to avoid this also becoming a league comparison thread.

The Mule league denunciation thread shouldn't have been moved to the Right Back section. By virtue of being a league denunciation thread, it would be compared to other leagues.

Being compared to La Liga makes sense, because it is the number one league in the European coeff points.

I think Mole and the likes are mocking at those who were overrating Sevilla and expected them to oust Juve and City.Many people still believe City and Sevilla will go through.

Sevilla are a tier 2 side and there's no shame in losing to a superior quality team.Their loss is hardly a knock on the league.

They don't have enough quality and experience to hang around with the big boys.Porto for example are comfortably better team.

What I am saying is that Juve are on a completely different level from Porto. Don't compare Sevilla losing to Juve to Chelsea losing to Porto...there isn't much shame in it but Porto aren't Juve.

the 'better league' debate is just bollocks. people only started 'better league' talk when chelsea, pool and utd were doing well in europe. imo at the core, what league is better really doesn't matter; all i see it as is, some sets of fans whose teams haven't had much success sulk and say "oh we haven't won cos the league is so strong", others whose teams are good domestically but not in europe go "our league is so strong so we can't really focus on europe". other sets like madrid, barca, bayern and juve fans go "oh its not like we're bullying the smaller teams, the league is competitive, its just that we're too good"

in reality, nobody cares for the league, everyone is only interested in their team doing well. i'll never cheer for barcelona in any sort of final, and i doubt they'd cheer for madrid. i might show support to a liga team in europa league only because i may have watched that team weak in weak out, not for the sake of the league.

the only people that really take the league thing seriously are pundits simply because they'll side with what they cover. and even then they have their club bias, but most do a good job of hiding it. best league doesn't matter, its just a charade for underlying excuses of people's own teams imo. you watch what entertains you  and support your team.

and i was delighted with sevilla losing, i don't like them, they always disturb our plans....don't care much for valencia either
