Since when is drawing on the road to Roma a bad result? I know every time Barca don't win everyone chalks it up as a loss, but 3 of the 4 EPL teams actually did lose.

I wouldn't put Chelsea and PSG in the same breath as Atletico.

Atletico won La Liga which I don't think either of those teams could do, not to mention Atletico toyed with Chelsea.

The talent is spread across 10 teams max, don't be blind. the best players used to be a lot more spread out across a multitude of different teams. The money being how it is at CL level has thinned out the competition.

I mean seriously when has there been a time when the best player from Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil played on the same team

The quality level is a lot worse across the board because the very best players play for so few teams, which is why the competition is dominated by so few teams and the same teams win it over and over again.

This is correct, but you can't deny there is a massive gap in both European competitions between La Liga and the EPL.

Your point basically ignores the Europa League like it doesn't exist.  If you don't like it that's cool but it's not just happenstance that La Liga's big teams and there smaller teams dominate both competitions.

None of the owners, managers etc etc care or approach it seriously, when you compare it to Sevilla's attitude to the tournament it's night and day.

So i can't judge them there when it's quite obvious that the owners themselves don't want to win it as it's not lucrative to them and the managers see it as an inconvenience. That's not even an opinion, it's a fact based on actions from the clubs on how they approach it and quotes from the management on how they view it.

That's some what fair but again I think it's kind of a crutch of an argument (ends justify the means).

But other leagues do care about Europa League and the Spanish teams clean them up as well.

Again, no one will ever convince me United weren't trying against Bilbao.  IF/when English teams get further in Europa League they put out 85-90% there best lineups.

I think that's pretty consistent with most leagues.
