Nice. Needs to execute faster. Too many touches on the ball.

Adama is now a Middlesbrough player for the next 4 seasons. Not sure if the "buy back" option in his clause carries over.

That said i don't think the club plans to purchase him back ever

EDIT
I also updated the opening post to reflect the current seasons loans/buy backs

Adama Traoré looking pretty damn solid today. We need a cheap actual winger on the team, I would say we let two solid ones go on the cheap in Adama and Deulofeu. Both would be pretty damn solid off the bench for us. Way better than Paco or whatever other options we currently have in attack.

Alen Halilović has been loaned to Las Palmas for the remainder of the season. They have the option to purchase him at the end of the season for 5M I believe, and we have the option to get him back for 10M for the next 2 summers.

Also Gerard Deulofeu has been loaned to AC Milan for the rest of the season.

Deulofeu is not our player. All the details are on the OP updated. He was sold to Everton with a buy back option, then loaned to Milan this week. He made his debut already against Juve on Tuesday.

Halilovic played well when give a chance but they rarely did. He pretty much requested to go out on loan to get playing time and he was loaned to Las Palmas today. Halilovic is still young as hell, he can still reach his potential.

Loan Watch - Page 5 Empty Re: Loan Watch

Post by windkick Tue 30 May - 21:19

Just wanted to bump this, so we could discuss a bit the guys that left us either on loan or were sold with buy backs.

Loaned out.

Sergi Samper - Played allot but Granada got relegated. I didn't really read great things about his play but then again it seems the entire team wasn't clicking all season.

Thomas Vermaelen - I don't follow Serie Z so no clue what happened with his season.

Cristian Tello - Same as Verm. No clue.

Douglas - Forgot he existed.

Munir - Just like Sandro, both were the leading scorers of their respected teams. Sandro finished with 16 total goals and Munir finished with 7. To be fair to Munir, that first half of the season the entire squad was playing terribly and were in relegation level. Then the second half they got a new manager, the team started winning and he started scoring. Paco finished the season with 6 total goals for Barcelona, which brings up my point that Sandro and Munir were on the same level, if not better adapted to our squad than Paco is. Total waist of cash. Sandro has now scored more goals than Paco ever has in a season. Munir is younger and can play all 3 forward roles..stupid asses should of just kept Munir/Sandro and not waisted money on Paco.

Players we sold.

Alen Halilović - From what I understand he was throwing a fit at Hamburg about playing time and they sent him to Las Palmas. He played allot but I'm honestly not too sure how well he was playing.

Gerard Deulofeu - Seems to be his break out season, once he hit Milan he got going and then even scored a goal for the NT. It seems Barca are considering exercising his buy back, and that Milan are also interested in buying him outright from Everton. All in all, he always had the skill but had a moron attitude but from what I've read he seems to have matured and done allot of growing up over the years.

Adama Traoré - Apparently has a terrible attitude. Pretty much all I've read about him is how fast and good of a dribbler he is, that he is injury prone, or that he is an asshole.

Disappointed that Deulofeu, Samper and Halilovic haven't come remotely close to what they were hyped for.

I was hoping that they at least become good backup options for the squad. I hope that can still be the case.
