Premier League - Chelsea vs WBA
Jose has indicated that Courtois will start and said Oscar and Moses are doubtful through injury. So Pedro could well start on the weekend.
Zouma or Cahill is 50/50 imo.
Let's go win this!
Courtois
Ivanovic Zouma Terry Azpilicueta
Fabregas Matic
Pedro Willian Hazard
Costa

Don't want to see Ivanovic on the right side.

Neither, but I don't know if Baba will start considering he is inexperienced and barely been here a week.

I got the squad correct, here is the subs: Begovic, Cahill, Mikel, Loftus-Cheek, Traore, Remy, Falcao.

3-1 up going into halftime at one of our biggest bogey grounds and Mourinho still looks miserable as hell

Pedro ffs, can't dribble or pass they said
Great debut from him, so far. Great to see Costa scoring again, too.
Willian is woeful, can't wait for Pedro to replace him. Matic has been poor too.
More of this in the second half, please.

Matic has been off the boil a little bit.
Costa's build up is a bit dodgy but glad to see him score.
Willians end product is hilarious.

Completely agree.
Pedro replacing Willian looks like a good move once Oscar is back

Hugely pivotal win and 3 points both mathematically and psychologically. Was absolutely convinced it'd end 3-3 if not even worse as soon as Morrison's second went in, but the mentality to hold out for the win for over half an hour with 10 men after a highly dubious red card was exactly what was needed after the start we've had.

I was worried after Morrison scored, too. But after about 10 minutes, I knew we'd win. WBA don't have that win at all costs mentality.
Can't we just sign a top RB and use Bran as 4th choice CB? Someone like Ricardo Rodriguez, Seamus Coleman or perhaps taking a punt on Óscar de Marcos?

Re: Premier League - Chelsea vs WBA
Good win. West Brom were quite bad but whatever, we really couldnt afford to lose points.
Pedro looked really fine aside from his goal and assist, always taking on players, making one twos, roaming all over the attacking third, always threatening and creating plays. I was impressed by him and his confidence. Good start.
And Willian...meh. I wasn't even disappointed about his sitters missed. I mean if it was any other player you'd expect him to score and therefore be disappointed if he misses, but he's so Gervinho-esque when it comes to being clutch in finalizing an action.

When Azpilicueta is a better finisher than you, you know it's not your thing.
Can't wait for Pedro to bench Willian, hopefully Oscar will be back for Palace game.

Re: Premier League - Chelsea vs WBA
Yea, especially with Costa dropping the brutal form he had with us when he first joined we can't afford to have someone as disgustingly wasteful in front of goal as Willian. Pedro is infinitely better than him in that regard.

I don't think his form has dropped that much, he was never overly clinical and his support isn't as good as it was this time last year.

No point, tbh. It's unlikely it'll be overturned, may as well focus on playing Gaz-Kurt in CB for the week and Prepare Baba in case he is needed.

Re: Premier League - Chelsea vs WBA
I'm not so sure. Usually I'm quite pessimistic and defeatist when it comes to the FA and/or its competence and/or its doing the right or logical thing, but this particular incident seems so overtly benign and the decision so obviously erroneous, that I wonder if even they could have effed it up and not agreed had an appeal been initiated.

Re: Premier League - Chelsea vs WBA
It was a soft red, I'll admit, but, Terry knowingly pulled him down because Rondon was going to beat Courtois to the ball, it's stopping a clear goal scoring opportunity, so I doubt they'd see it otherwise.
Just take the 1 game ban and move on, imo.
