Yeah, it's amazing. But you gotto be into a romantic mood. It's not a rom-com, more of a romantic drama but still some very sophisticated humor in it. But all 4 characters are portrayed brilliantly by the cast.

James, Vesper, Le Chiffre and Rene are portrayed brilliantly i agree but not much romance involved imo hmm

MI 2 was legit ffs. Always liked John Woo films.

3 is the only average one for me. And from what it looks like, Rogue Nation is going to be average too.

Rogue Nation looks more Ghost Protocol than MI3 to me. Tom Cruise ffs :bow:

Battle Royale

Read the manga a while back and thought it was awful. Found out they made a film for it which is surprisingly rated as good. So decided to watch it because why not?

Watched it and it's even worse than the Manga. There were decent moments here n there but they had to tone it down from Rated R (manga was full of gore and nudity) to TV-14 which made it worse since the characters who were a bit decent were totally washed down in the film.

4.5/10 at best

It's a massive shame since the premises of the film is fantastic. I'd love to see a survival film based on the idea but done in a better way ( I know hunger games ripped off the idea from it)
