Might as well make a topic on it seeing as it's available now.
Just downloaded it, had no problems and the interface is much cleaner, faster and much easier to use ( not that i had a problem anyway) doesn't seem to take an age to get where i want to go like Windows 8 did at times.

Another is it seemed to have improved performance, most of stuff i have on have loaded instantly. No slowdown on anything so far, which wasn't happening before especially with more demanding stuff.

Do you have Windows 8? if so it's a free upgrade and all your files should transfer over.

Yes I believe so. Don't know anything about these stuff. All I know it's slow 
and people have always had complaints about it from the start.

Yeah.
But i reserved my copy ages ago so it was ready to download as soon as it was available.
Like a pre load basically, not sure how you go about it otherwise but i doubt it will be too difficult.

Should be downloading automatically then.... see if there's a windows tab at bottom of your screen that's where mine appeared.

Mine got stuck at 75% for like an hour. I hard booted after I was convinced that something was wrong. It rolled back and ditched the update. And now it's downloading again.
