wonder what formation VanGaal has in mjnd with all these additions. ADM would be a fool not to stay now tht United havr added all these quality players to instead go and retire in france with a big paycheck

Can Depay play on the right? I have always seen him play on the left.

LVG focusing a lot on midfield so can expect a barcelona style ah play from them.

Lol at the thread title. They have spent £250 million in the last 18 months. They are not quietly assembling anything.

I hope United don't sign Otamendi. I learned from GL that he is the best stopper in the game right now and they could really use the upgrade on defence.

Smalling over Rojo all day. Although Rojo isn't so bad at CB.

Re: Manchester United Part V/Ole Sack Watch
Not too bad.. now they just need another striker and a replacement for DDG.
Was always going to happen obviously. United is not a club happy with finishing 4th.

As a liverpool fan im duty bound to hate man u. But I respect the club. But I hope they don't try to take the same route as madrid and just buy success.

The di maria saga so far must have taught the club that route aint the correct route.
So even amidst these rumors of 140 mil bid tabled for bale, 100 mil bid for ramos and stuff, I hardly think the club will pay that much anymore in actuality. Or at least we would be skeptical to pull off mega deals such as that for these so called uninterested world class players who want a way out of their big clubs.
In that regard This year theres a marked improvement in Woody's transfer dealings.
Eventhough we bought Schweini who falls in that bracket, he was a Man U fan and is delighted with this deal unlike someone like di maria who came to united purely cos he had nowhere else to go and he wanted out of real.
So yea I mean I hope we wont go full muppet mode and become another galactico. Believe me I hate that scenario to the fullest as well.

Re: Manchester United Part V/Ole Sack Watch
I think United still lack that final spark and Schweini & Schneidi overlap as signings a bit. They will be better than last season, so that sucks, but at least they're not title winning material.
