Deserved elimination honestly. Could've easily beat this side, but of course we went from shambolic defending to astonishingly poor attacks.

The early games in the tournament were a foreshadow for this result.

I feel sorry for Fabian Johnson - now he spent all the time with thew US team at the Gold Cup and doesn't even have to show anything for missing the whole season preparation with Borussia Mönchengladbach abd very likely losing out on a starting place at Gladbach due to that Sad

Congrats due to Jamaica on a well played match. US needed some experience in defense and another forward option beyond they could rely on beyond Dempsey. Alan Gordon wasn't the answer.

General approach of most US and Mexico fans going into any given Gold Cup, to be honest. Even given their poor form Mexican fans were just as cocky at the start of this tournament. Difference at this point is that they still have a chance to live up to that.

Mexican fans throwing things at the opposing players AGAIN. This needs to be dealt with. Clearly the Mexican FA won't take action (been happening for years) so FIFA or CONCACAF need to take some type of action.

I've said for some time now we wouldn't reach the finals. Honestly shocked we even reached this stage of the tourney considering our level of play has been so poor. I'm realistic. Meanwhile a win vs Germany in a friendly and USA was walking around like they were something extraordinary when in reality are nothing more than Concacaf fodder like the rest of us.
