Angela was wearing a wire I think. Those two were FBI I'm guessing.

the whole sequence in the room where Angela is being asked questions by the girl was terrible, spent way too long on it too, just came off as self indulging in the whole 'wow mr robot is unlike anything else on TV!!!' thing, doesn't help that the actress is just boring and annoying to look at IMO

I know you said it was a two parter, needed to show it all at once IMO because it definitely felt that way, as a stand alone ep it was way too slow this far into the season

That was not Tyrell in the end. Don't know where Esmail is headed towards.


Felt like a filler episode so I am not gonna hype it. White rose was the only good thing about that weird scene.

Oh look its the season finale and even more unanswered questions.

Glad it's finally finished, in the last few weeks i could barely bring myself to watch this show.

It was a pretty good finale. Joanna is a pure psychopath.

Loved the post-credit scene.

You can see why Rami won the Emmy.

It certainly wasn't as high octane as other episodes, but that's not really this show's style anyway. Answered a big question and popped up a few more. Standard fare for a finale tbh.

What the hell happened in those three days since Elliot gave Tyrell the gun?

Wtf did White Rose say or do to Angela?

What is Joey Badass going to do to Trenton and Mobley?

Also if Elliot has been identified as fsociety by FBI why the hell is he not followed and tracked? They had him directly linked with Tyrell and they did not think that they might contact each other at some point?

Finale was disappointing for sure. It felt anti-climatic.

And the whole is Tyrell real, Tyrell in love with Elliot really came of as the show parodying itself. This season did not progress the plot much, they could have had the Tyrell reveal happen earlier and culminate the season with the end of phase 2.

Mr Robot planned phase 2 in those 3 days with Tyrell and Dark Army.

We will find out in season 3 regarding Angela and White Rose. Same with Joey Badass bit. It's not the end of show. Just the end of season. They can't reveal everything now and not leave anything for season 3

Elliot was in prison most of the time FBI were going after suspect. All of fsociety members know how to be discreet and avoid being followed as Darlene has showed us multiple times. Elliot/Mr Robot obviously do the same. And Tyrell managed to hide from the FBI for so long, do you really think he will allow someone to follow him?


Tyrell isn't literally in love with Elliot. It was figurative. Everything Mr Robot has been planning benefits Tyrell.

Don't really see how it was Anti-climatic. Sure 1-2 episodes were a bit weak but the show isn't a mini-series. It's going to last 5 seasons at least and they did what most shows do to get fans tuning in next year

I think they honeydicked us way too much this season so obviously expected the finale to give some legit answers. We don't know any details of the three days, all we know is Elliot gave Tyrell the gun and 72 hours later woke up in Tyrell's car with a flashdrive of the video of him falling in the boardwalk. That's a gaping hole from the season 1 finale that has not been filled by the end of the second season.

On Angela and Leon, thats what I meant about unanswered questions. Saw Esmail's interview on Variety where he said those will be explained on season 3. Too much of these is getting quite tiring.

Also the show is building suspense for the sake of building suspense. We saw Trenton and Mobley react with what looked like shock after someone entered the coffee shop. We later find out that...they are safe and sound in the West Coast. Oh ok. Reminds me of the cliffhangers in Indian serials where every character reacts with shock after a loud noise and after the commercial break we see it was the five year old son breaking the window while playing cricket.

Plot progression was slow this season. Thats why they lost fans. Honestly I'm probably going to binge season 3 after it ends. It is going to get tiring when episode 1 will probably be Elliot in a dream state in the coma and we have to wait one more week only to be disappointed 7/10 times and have the plot significantly progress only once in a while. Hope next season really is not like how this one was.

Tbh I can perfectly understand that argument. At times it was obvious that Sam was trying too hard. I am not sure he expected the show to be such a hit and didn't know how to match season 1's heights.
