They have no depth to compete with Juventus.

Love how people only look at the starting elevens.

Depth is what wins you championships or atleast,compete for it.

Where was Chelsea's depth last season when they walked the title? hmm

I'm still not sure why Inter want to swap that scrub Perisic out for Shaqiri. Makes no sense at all.

They have great depth everywhere but for fullbacks imo, look at that starting XI and you're missing Vidic/Juan Jesus/ Rannochia in defence, Brozovic/Hernanes/Guarin in midfield and Palacio/Longo in attack.

The difference between Roma/Juve and Inter is the coach though.

Now that Milan is putting together a decent squad,fully expect them to finish above Inter,as always.

That's the point, they didn't need the depth to win the league as stated above by some juve fans.

tbh I don't care about comparison with Juventus .
We were 8th last year , and the 5th place was the best result in last 4 years.
Basically we start from nothing .
So we must climb levels and the gap is not easy to reduce immediately , expecially when you have a team so new , never played together.
A revolution was necessary after scrub seasons because you can't begin again from players used to play for mid table though.
Our scudetto consists about getting the 3rd place.
And Roma is improving their team and Napoli isn't destroying although many announced this after Benitez's departure for Sarri . But Higuain is staying , and Vrsaljko,Allan,Chiriches looks like signings more intelligent than the past Goulham, David Lopez, Henrique
Mancini hasn't many excuses anyway . The team is surely good for Serie A it can compete for the 3rd place and he must get it if he wants to be confirmed , plain and simple.
Besides he was satisfied completely on mercato, also for this " swap " Shaqiri - Perisic ( we never would have sold after just 6 months , but it was his specific request ).
Italian press has already begun to give us so much pressure talking even for Scudetto anyway , but it is always same history with us , it could happen even if we signed Taider and Belfodil , let alone after Kondogbia,Jovetic and Miranda...
