Firenze wrote:almost every quest in TW3 was better than main quests in FFXV lol. I can't remember many that weren't ranging from good-amazing. Reminds me I need to get around to Blood and Wine. Might do that after Horizon and Mass Effect.
I haven't looked at any reviews besides the one I listened to earlier for this and probably won't, I know I'm gonna get it regardless. I did see comments on NEOGAF saying that it's apparently quite a challenging game.
I don't know how you manage to shuffle these games around after you buy them. Surely, you end up not ever playing some of them? It would definitely make more economical sense to purchase games that you know you're going to play through to the end You can just pick up the other games for cheap, later on.

I'm pretty sure everyone and MT's mom thought those were generally excellent, though Even Yakuza 0 had good to great sidequests. The fetch quests in games need to stop. Now. Combat in Horizon looks pretty fun.
Did you just ignore my previous post then?Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:They are not fetch quests from what I understand BTW, just that they are not as high quality as the main quest stuff.
I guess we'll see.
As I said because they are not as a high as the main quest doesn't mean they are fetch quests.
In fact I didn't mention fetch quests at all, as most of the reviews I mentioned didn't either.
I was speaking in general. No need to get all defensive, lol.
Fair enough, my bad I misinterpreted what you said.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
It's all good Final Fantasy XV's fetch quests is what pisses me off the most, but then again, it was in development for about decade and had to be rushed out for release. I just hope games can move past fetch quests once and for all.

I hope so too, I honestly can't go back to that crap anymore lol.
I don't expect Witcher level quests but at least make your quests mean something and not filler crap.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
Sites sending copies out early so they get there definitely on release.
It's pretty normal really, i'd say it's looking like Monday if i'm lucky and Tuesday being most likely.
Even so i'm likely to get it earlier than the Wednesday UK date.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
getting it digitally, rarely ever get physical now unless I'm super hyped for a game because I think it puts less strain on the console which is probably a complete myth

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
quite looking forward to it though like I said, I've somehow managed to stay fairly blind to the entire game besides reading the NEOGAF spoiler leak that apparently and thankfully turned out to be false
from what I did hear though most places say it's like 30 hrs long which is a sweet spot for RPG's IMO, rarely can a game hold your interest and still be quality at a length longer than that, which is another reason why TW3 is GOAT

Last time i saw anything about the game was that cringe trailer like 5 months ago. But everything i've heard sounds promising. Looking forward to it.
