Mexes renewal isn't the worst thing in the world imo. As long as we still sign a couple good CBs, we should be ok. Now if we don't sign decent CBs.. then it's a problem.

I'm convinced we will be getting Romagnoli at some point this summer. The issue is which other quality option could we pursue to build a partnership with him?

I'd say we give Ely a chance but I'm not sure he is ready to be a starter for a team fighting for a CL place just yet

I'd have Nocerino and Matri in there ahead of Abbiati. At least Abby has a role that makes sense, that of experienced back up and squad mascot who will only make a handful of appearances due to the presence of a capable, established first team keeper.

Unfortunately it appears that Sinisa actually intends to use Nocerino in the squad.

Completely forgot about Matri. Nocerino is not totally useless, but I'd rather have Mauri getting time ahead of him.

Nocerino has two qualities: stamina and finishing. The former is pointless unless we find a way to hide his weaknesses and play to his strengths as we did during his first season with us. The second is pointless unless we get him into goal scoring positions with good service, which we can't achieve without recourse to the market. He only gains relevance if Ibrahimovic or another similarly dominant playmaker in the final third arrives. As you said, I'd rather that sort of time be invested into Mauri, who at least can add to his otherwise similar game at such an age.

Nocerino is a good player he shouldn't be anywhere near the top of the hit list when we have players like Mexes and Alex on the squad.

if it was upto me, nocerino, montolivo de scilgio zaccardo, would be gone...

i would have brought the likes of cigarini veratti, maher, witsel, mastour, xhaka, verdi, etc to replace them

i cant see why milan would even finish in top 5... let alone CL spot...

milan will finish at probably 5-6th, but they wont get CL spot this season..

flop signing will be : bertolacci
my top signing will be : romagnoli , bacca

For all Nocerino's goalscoring and workmanship qualities, I'd get rid of him for a more creative midfielder if there were any available in the market

I'm so gutted seeing Matri still in this team, I don't care what he offers we should get rid of him already

I'd also get rid of Alex and Zapata who seems of interest to everton for another young decent back up defender

we all know Zaccardo won't leave, so no point trying to force him out.. He will obviously leave when his contract expires next summer so I'm cool with him riding the bench as long as he doesn't see game time
