I took a long break from the game due to work (about 3 months) right when I was about to head into the Institute for the first time. I started playing again 2 days ago to find out

I believe there are 5 endings. BOS, Railway, Shaun's gang of hobos , Minutemen.. and the one where you manage to keep all factions from fighting each other.

thought there were only 3 endings, BOS, Institute and Railroad. Those three were the only trophy related ones.

There's a guide for it on Youtube. It's a frustrating process and it's not worth it, imo

Enough Food, enough water, enough beds, enough defense (150+ generally), and at least 20 settlers in the population.  Anyone NOT needed for food should be put at upgraded First Aid/Food vendor stands.

valentine has a detective agency to run and you're thinking of making him sell odds and ends at a wodden market stall in some poverty settlement



but yeah like RO said, I think I just spammed the highest first aid stands possible, took about 15-20

Your settlement won't reach 100 happiness, unless you're in your settlement while the happiness stat is increasing... unless, they've patched it. My Castle matched all of the qualifications for an ideal setting in this regard, but I couldn't be arsed to sit around and wait for it to hit 100.

behemoths were fun to fight. Too OP for them at this stage though but still. My fav enemy in the game I think.

It was worth platinumming. Was quite easy in the end. Good game overall.

I absolute loved the exploring side of the game. I spent 95% of the game exploring and 5% on the story after skipping majority of the dialogues.

It was a good game. Worth playing. Was my first fallout game as well so definitely worth the time i spent. Will be playing fallout 5 whenever it comes out

Story was quite shit though. I guess story is an afterthought in a game like this. But I do agree with the critics that the game could have done with maybe more type of enemies.

I don't think i remember more than 3-4 characters even after spending so long in it. None are memorable apart from Strong who I thought was the best character in the game.

I'll see if i can be bothered with the DLC. But hearing it's quite big so why not. We'll see.


Overall I'd give it 7.9/10

story was the worst ever in this one IMO, you should get on new vegas eventually, with mods on PC it should still hold up, I quit it about 1/6th of the way in due to fatigue but I hear it's very good.

I loved exploring the open world in this at the time because I love the setting but when I think back, it wasn't particularly rewarding. There wasn't too many great secrets/sidequests to find.
