cant wait for this. will be the best game on ps4 so far imo.

I have not played my PS4 in a while, almost a year and a half. But I am definitely taking it out for this game. Love the fallout post apocalyptic world, the setting is amazing with the dark retro future world, huge fan of the oldies music also.

Very pleasant surprise to learn it is going to come out this year less then two months at the moment.

Is there an actual story to it?

It does have one but not to the extent of Witcher for example.

In general Bethesda RPGs are more about your character choices being the story and the world being the story.

It's why I haven't liked them to this point, gonna give it a chance though.

fallout 3 was amazing so I'll play this but I got bored of the sequel halfway through (New Vegas, though it's highly rated) gotta say though this game is ugly as f graphically from what I've seen

Previous Fallout story games have been similar to Skyrim. I have read Bathesda has emphasized improving the story, so we can expect that

The graphic looks amazing in this video. New Vegas was decent, and kinda what you expect from half sequal. This is a full blown sequal.

It's quite meh graphically compared to other games tbh, but Bethesda games have never been great graphically tbh. Fallout 3/New Vegas at the time was well behind visually from what other games were doing.

Same here really, but it suffices to be frank as nobody plays Fallout to be impressed visually anyway although it would be nice granted.

The E3 demo sold me. Don't think I will have time to play this with MGS 5

after the semi panic from ppl online due to the terrible screenshots, someone who already has the game uploaded some and it's looking a lot better, still pretty average for a PS4 game but I like the atmosphere, apparently the gunplay is a lot more improved in this game , pretty hyped.

heard the whole 'build and manage your own settlement' feature they were hyping at E3 is quite deep and a time sink, doubt I'll bother building any besides one, not too interested in that, hopefully you don't get penalized gameplay wise for neglecting it

It's standard for a Bethesda game really, not really up with industry standards but it's not awful at all lol.

All i want to know from the reviews is is the storytelling good or is the combat improved ( pretty confident about this though as they have had the Doom guys work on it )

Fallout 3 was my GOAT game and it takes place in my native Boston, couldn't be more excited.

Don't worry about the graphics, it's standard Bethesda. Never mindblowing but not very important because they're good enough. The real charm of the game is the freedom you get to do whatever. Side quests, dialogue choices, the VAT system in combat, finding loot and whatnot. Plus the cool, random shit that can happen in the Wasteland. Start the game and put your skills on 10 luck and you'll get a pretty different experience than if you maxed out your intelligence (changes your dialogue choices) or w.e.

Excited to see how this settlement thing works too. Hope it's not a bust.

V.A.T.S system got boring as hell for me in F3. That's why I'm hoping combat outside of it is much improved and from early reports that's the case. Agree though, I love the wasteland and stumbling across events/quests is GOAT.

Definitely a top 10 experience from last gen for me. Considering it's been about 4 years now since I touched a Skyrim/Fallout FPS RPG my body is more than ready.

I have a feeling the story will be very average though, seems to be another Bethesda trend, though they usually have a few highlights. I always saw this as the standard in sprawling RPG's, but TW3 may have spoiled me there.
