Ibe and Flano sign

Jordon ibe and john Flanagan have signed new contracts at the club. great news. 2 good young players that know how to handle things a bit better than some players over contracts.

Immediately after committing his future to Anfield, Ibe told Liverpoolfc.com: "I'm over the moon. It's something I've been looking forward to. I've spoken to the gaffer and I'm happy it's over and done with. Now I just want to kick on into next season, as well as the last game of this one.

"Liverpool are a great club and I like the philosophy here. I'm enjoying it - I've just been brought into the first team and I've enjoyed the games I've played in. Hopefully I can just keep doing well at the club.

"I have been given the chance to play quite a few games and I've enjoyed it. As I said, I just want to take that into pre-season and then next season, continuing with how it's been since I've been back here."

I love both Ibe and Flano. Hopefully they keep that desire to play for Liverpool and Jon finds some good health along the way. They're both good talents that could really help the team going forward. Ibe especially I really like the upside of.

Five years for Ibe, great news, and a one-year extension for Flanagan, which is also nice given his bad injury issues, we'll see whether he stays beyond that year, but the decent thing to do nevertheless.

I really hope Flanagan recovers completely and not become MK II. Markovic and Ibe will get lots of games next season so I guess it's very exciting time for him.

tbh. the sooner sterling gets sold the faster this lad can progress. if we can somehow rinse 40mil out of city or Chelsea for sterling then play ibe week in week out then we are fine. 40mil towards new strikers will help out.

What most likely will happen is he'll be a city next year, which means we'll get good money for him.
