Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V10
http://www.goallegacy.net/t37573-barclay-s-premier-league-14-15-discussion-v9
Southampton v Aston Villa
The Saints have had a great season. However, it's in danger of coming to a disappointing end if they don't finish in the top-7 and give themselves a chance to get into the Europa League qualification stage. Swansea are just a point behind them. Aston Villa, on the other hand, have probably done enough already to stay in the league.
Burnley v Stoke
Burnley are going down, but can still be proud of their season. The home fans are probably going to show their appreciation, too. Mark Hughes' Potters have quietly had a very solid season and are set to finish in a respectable 9th place. Fun fact: Before the final two rounds, ex-Liverpool players Peter Crouch and Charlie Adam would be tied for 2nd and 3rd, respectively, on Liverpool's Premier League top scorers list this season with 7 and 6 goals this campaign.
QPR v Newcastle
Southampton have had a great season - yet very little talk about Swansea, who are just a point behind. Burnley can be proud of themselves despite getting relegated - yet there's a sense of failure about QPR
Anyway, it's a decent chance for Newcastle to get their first win since February.
Sunderland v Leicester
Hull City have done both of them a favour, but neither can be sure of staying up yet. A draw wouldn't be a bad result for either, but a win would all but guarantee survival.
Tottenham v Hull City
If Tottenham qualify for the Europa League, it will be the 5th successive time for them. Should they be happy that they haven't been usurped by the competition behind them or disappointed they haven't gone one better and gotten into the top-4? Has Pochettino done all right or should he face the fate of Redknapp, Villas-Boas and Sherwood?
West Ham v Everton
If Tottenham fans are feeling disappointed about their carbon-copy kind of a season, I'm sure Everton fans would be happy to swap places with them. Fifth last year, probably 11th or 10th this year.
Liverpool v Crystal Palace
Gerrard's Anfield farewell will be overseen by one superb manager.
Sunday
Swansea v Manchester City
Big game for the Swans who are making a final-straight push for the European spots.
Manchester United v Arsenal
Arsenal's slip up against the said Swans last round did a favour to this match as United could still overtake Arsenal for 3rd. The 4th, of course, has to navigate a possibly tricky CL qualification round to get into the group stage.
Monday
West Brom v Chelsea
Don't know what would better ensure we'll all be glued to our screens on Monday night (or whatever time of the day it will be where you are).

The Mirror wrote:Kolo Toure's lawyers argued the Liverpool star shouldn't get a driving ban because fans would mob him on public transport and he could be pushed under a train.
The Ivory Coast international was caught speeding twice in the same week, travelling at 57mph in a 40mph zone, and then days later, 72mph in a 50mph zone.
"Using public transport like buses or trains often leads to a surge of people which is a safety issue to him and the public.
“If that happened on the train track, someone could be pushed under a train by accident, or under cars on the roads.”
Sounds like his lawyer is under no illusions about his popularity in Merseyside.

Would pay Toure to get on the train or bus etc imo anything that goes away from Anfield

I'm not even a fan (was fully against signing him) and I can state that he's still better than Dejan.

I would contribute 10€ considering the conversion rate between Euro and Pounds

Sadio Mané Premier League goals this season: 11.
Liverpool summer signings (Lallana, Markovic, Can, Lovren, Moreno, Balotelli, Lambert) goals combined: 12.
gg Brendan.

5-0 now before half time and it should be 6 with Pelle having had a goal incorrectly ruled out for offside before Mane's hat trick.

Middlesbrough v Norwich in the play-off final. Berra red-card for handball on the line and Hoolahan scored the penalty. Anti-climax decider in the East Anglian derby, but at least it was a clear-cut decision.
McCarthy should now be free to join Liverpool!

Mane's hat-trick was in 2 minutes and 56 seconds. The previous record was Robbie Fowler vs Arsenal, at 4 minutes 33 seconds.
Villa have one back via Benteke. 5-1 at half-time. Mental.
Ipswich have pulled level against Norwich.

If only Hull didn't lose vs Burnley
Asif they are going to get a result vs scummers at the end of season... Good as gone urgh, would have bloody loved it if Newcastle went down.

Hull City desire for relegation is only thing saving Newcastle from the Championship.
