Bethesda is announcing a new RPG at E3 and it's probably going to be Fallout 4. damn how long do we have to wait for the Elder Scrolls 6.

Re: E3 2015
Last years was all about PR lol, MS was trying to safe face from the initial reveal and Sony wanted to jump on the DRM fiasco.
I have faith it will be better this year.

Re: E3 2015
It wasn't but there was more of a focus of making themselves seem like the good guys to the consumers.
Microsoft were simply trying to get back into consumer good books after the TV and always online stuff and Sony wanted to try and use that to their advantage.
The actual game content was very sparse because of this but i do expect different this time.

Spend 30 mins telling us how technologically amazing the PS4 is only to show us 400 games that look and play like they're direct f*cking super nintendo ports

Re: E3 2015
I fully expect E3 to turn into an indie fest. AAA releases this gen are sparse except for Christmas time in the last 3 months of the year, so pubs need to fill in the rest of the empty 9 months with fluff.
It's shocking really, I've pretty much been forced to go back to the 360 and play some older games on there since there's f**k all to play on my XBO

Re: E3 2015
Jonathan there's 4 AAA FPS alone during that period
I wouldn't say its sparse tbh, it's more so because of certain delays but i don't think it is none the less.

lol yeah. I mean, I understand why devs try to drop all of their games during the christmas period, since it's the time of year when people are buying lots of shit, but the likes of Halo, COD and Battlefront all releasing within 3 weeks of each other? Come on.
The thing is though, many of the games which were delayed to the first 9 months of this year were originally meant to release during last years christmas period, games such as The Witcher 3, Hardline and Batman. If those games hadn't gotten delayed, the release calendar for this year would be even more barren than it already is, so delaying the games actually helped matters lol
That's actually what worries me, the fact that pubs seem to be so focused on releasing their AAA games during the September-December months when they'll sell the most, that we'll barely get anything during the rest of the year unless something goes wrong and games gets delayed.
The likelihood of games getting delayed is high enough that it will obviously happen, but man, it's not nice to have to rely on that.

Delays work both ways tbh, we'd have Uncharted and many more this year otherwise.
What you say is true but it's never gonna change, outside of the massive developers most of them can't risk spending loads on making a game and releasing it in May.

Re: E3 2015
Rare is reportedly ready to announce to announce its next game at E3.
A NeoGAF user spotted a conversation on Rare Creative Director Simon Woodroffeās Twitter feed in which he seems to confirm that Gregg Maylesā new project will be unveiled at E3. Mayles is a designer at Rare who has worked on the Donkey Kong Country trilogy, Banjo-Tooie, and Viva Pinata over the years.
@leflus E3 will tell the world what Gregg Mayles new project is about.
ā Simon Woodroffe (@SimonSorcerer) May 2, 2015
When questioned about whether the new game would be based on an original intellectual property (IP) or an existing one, Woodroffe tweeted āAll I can give here is a quote from the man himself, 'This is more fun than anything we've ever done."
Earlier this year, Composer and Sound Designer for Rare Ltd. Robin Beanland teased that 2015 would be a big year for the developer. Also fueling speculation about Rare's next project, Xbox Boss Phil Spencer wore a Battletoads t-shirt on stage at a Windows 10 Live Event.

Re: E3 2015
Meh most of Rare's best guys are working on this....
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/playtonic/yooka-laylee-a-3d-platformer-rare-vival
There's some others as well like the old Conker team working on something but for the most part that Rare is dead.
Although Gregg Myles is extremely legit but he's going to need some help lol.

Most E3 events are set for morning this year, Sony seems to have a problem with mornings, maybe their workers are lazy asses who wake up at 12PM.
