Courtois failing to make a basic save doesn't make Cavani less of a fraud.

I mean actually make a run beyond the defense and then finish a chance.

And coincidentally he had an even easier opportunity a few minutes later and choked (:

I noticed something about that goal or the lead up to it. The fans (from what I heard) didn't really voice anything until he scored. Usually, you would hear the crowd make a collective "oooooooooh" but they were honestly silent. It's like they were either waiting for him to miss or get called offside.

He took his goal well though, glad for him.

When has Ibra ever done that? people think because he's big, tall and can hit a ball with power that he's a 9 Laughing

He never has been and people still treat him as one regardless, which is why it's important Cavani plays and he always when he had success played with another forward.

Well not to take anything away from Higuain, but only his most recent season with Napoli has been better than any of Cavani's at Napoli

Cavani put up 3 seasons of 30+ goals in all competitions in a row with Napoli

With that being said, Cavani is coming off one of his most poor seasons and Higuain is coming off one of his best ever. Not a fair comparison

I still think he's a good player, but is missing a key item in a striker: Confidence.

Coming from being the focal point in attack to being put out wide or benched, while earning millions, doesn't really motivate most people to do much.

PSG was definitely a mistake and he needs to go to a smaller club, or somewhere where he'd be considered a key player to get the groove back, if he's capable of that.

Just give him 3-4 months with PSG next season. Emery plays a much better style for him and he's the main CF now. Needs some time and he'll get his confidence back.

Bacca and Gameiro have both been fantastic under Emery so I see no reason why Cavani can't be as good if not better.
