Re: The 2015 Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
I rate Willian over Cuadrado or Moses, tbh.
Kenedy has been officially signed and given the No.16 shirt.

So, Cuadrado to Juve is hotting up, looks like he'll be off there. Di Marzio is reporting it now.

Re: The 2015 Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
Juve's president has confirmed that Cuadrado will join on loan, reportedly for 1.5m Euros and an option to buy of around 20m Euros.
Also, seeing reports that Jose has told Marina and Emanelo to go sign Pogba for us, I still don't think it will happen, but I didn't think we'd sign Pedro either.

Re: The 2015 Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
Really dislike the loan. I mean he kinda flopped at Chelsea but he was still the best winger in the Serie A and attracted the interest of a lot of teams. It's not like a Marin or Salah or Torres who we just want to get rid of at the first offer.
If he fails at Juve, which is likely because their team is structured to play wingerless formations, he'd lose his appeal and we would have to sale him for a lot less.
Bad sale if we compare it to the other sales we've made with Mou.

Tbh, he was a bad buy. Nothing we can do about it, and maybe he'll pull a Salah and be a hit in Serie A again.
I'd prefer to get him off our wage books for a year and take a hit on the sale than keep him around when he isn't going to play.

Re: The 2015 Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
Cuadrado has landed in Turin, loan deal is expected to be completed tomorrow.
Marin is set to move to Turkey, with Trabzonspor. permanent Deal worth 2.5m Euros. Their president has confirmed it.
The Telegraph are reporting that Wet Spam are interested in Moses, but I can't see the deal happening unless Jose trusts Bertrand Traore or Kenedy.

Telling that our summer business has been such that we're aiming to keep hold of Moses...

As 5th choice, mate.
If we sign Stones and Pedro keeps this form up, It'll be a decent summer.

Re: The 2015 Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
So, Cuadrado has been officially loaned to Juve while Marin's deal is also official, but only a loan.
In other news which I am surprised no one has posted, Stones has handed in a transfer request and we have upped our bid to 33m. I think we'll get him, now. Everton would be fools to delay the transfer for any longer, especially if they want a decent replacement.

Re: The 2015 Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
I'm not so sure. Think he may have put it in just a shade too late. And that's assuming it'll carry any weight in the Everton boardroom at all anyway. They may very conceivably not care less whether he wants to go or not, making the submission of an official declaration of wanting so basically worthless.

Re: The 2015 Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
I think he has put it in at the latest possible time.
Everton now have a week to get a replacement, should he leave (enough time, imo). And they know they won't get more money for him than they will at this moment. Should they keep him, they'll be keeping an unhappy player who is important to them, and should he not play well as a result, they'll have a poor season. Then if someone wants him next season, he'll be worth much less. He'll also be hated by the fans, which can be damaging enough as it is.
If they sell now, they can bring in a replacement or two and potentially improve their side, thus finishing in a better place this season.
Stones isn't worth the money we're paying so it won't be hard to improve their side.
I personally think Everton would be fools to keep him.

Re: The 2015 Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
I don't know. I mean, City are buying De Bruyne for 60+M and massively improving their first XI while we are so fueled into buying him.
I mean, I don't think he's worth all the money, the attention we're prioritizing into him, and Everton won't sell him unless we offer further more money.
I mean, I'd be fine just leaving him be, try a cheeky bid for Varane/Hummels in the next windows or a RB with Iva moving to the CB which I believe it's what is best for him in the future.

Re: The 2015 Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
Everton have rejected our latest bid, they remain adamant they won't sell him.
Two options here, move on or keep throwing money at them.
I'd rather move on and buy someone cheap.

They'll never got more for him than what we're now allegedly offering.

Did we have a plan B in case Stones's deal failed? Or it was always going to be either him or nada?

Re: The 2015 Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
Chelsea have made an offer for China and Guangzhou Evergrande defender Zhang Linpeng, Chinese media reported on Friday.
The Premier League champions sent a contract on Wednesday and hope to secure the 26-year-old right back before the summer transfer window closes on Sept. 1, Titan said.
Zhang wrote:"I'm very happy and very excited to finally have this formal invitation. I've worked hard and waited these five or six years for my dream of playing overseas, and finally have recognition from the English Premier League."
"Although I'm unable to play Premier League directly, I believe Chelsea will have the most professional arrangements regarding my permit. I have no worries at all about the negotiations."

Re: The 2015 Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
Nor I. But the record of Asian players in this (or any) League isn't exactly the greatest, and as a defender no less? And a defender under José Mourinho further still?
Easy to see why I'd have my doubts/incredulities.
