So, from recent rumours, there has been a real lack of AM's we've been linked to. Perhaps what Vitesse manager Peter Bosz wasn't lying when he said 'Jose Mourinho is crazy about him [Bertrand Traore],'
'If the opportunity is there, they prefer to take him back.'

If that were the case, and we kept or replace Cuadrado adequately, we wouldn't need another AM.

So if I were to base a team around recent rumours:

I'd definitely take Luiz Gustavo and Begovic. If Bamford was to be loaned again, I'd swap Cech for Falcao (either a loan with us getting some money) to ensure Cech doesn't stay in England.

Then the only thing to worry about would be a back up CB, and for that, I suppose Alderweireld wouldn't be too bad.

Of that list, only Isco, Reus and Griezmann are improvements over Oscar and Willian. Modric plays CM, Kovacic is overhyped, Pastore is inconsistent and Brahimi has had 1 good season.

Willian finished the season very strongly and Jose think Oscar will improve massively next season, while I don't know if it will happen, we may as well give him a chance to do it.

As an experienced third choice on lower wages than he is currently on he wouldn't be the worst choice ever, but I'd prefer to keep Bamford.

Modric will allow us to play a perfect 433. Think of a midfield od Modric-Matic-Cesc/Oscar. This will surely be an improvement over what we have now. With Isco/Griezmann we will have better competition for Oscar and Willian. If none of this happen, but Cuadrado leaves as it is being reported we will need some backup. Thats why I have put the name of Brahimi in that list.
