I find it really strange that Kane is on the shortlist this year, but not Son who's had a stellar season and recently won the Golden Boot. Kane is a fantastic player, but Nuno Espirito Santo might've still had a job at Tottenham if Kane didn't have such a poor start to the season (presumably, as a result of his failed move to Man City). I'm also not sure what Cristiano is doing on the list this year. Maybe they changed their format and are now basing it on FIFA 22 statistics
