I tried changing the Twitter page to desktop view but it automatically goes back to the mobile view.

I don't think you can embed tweets using the Twitter mobile version then.

I couldnt find the embed button on my mobile either (also android)

Yeah, you just have to switch to desktop view I guess. Then you can embed tweets.
