This game was great, my heart needed a week off.
Sub Brady now, or let Luck have some consolation.

Pretty much the most obvious matchup before the season. Was my bet also. Going to be a great game, hopefully. The SB don't deserve another game like the one last year, which reminded an awful lot of the match for us today.

NFL has found that 11 of the Patriots footballs used in Sunday’s AFC title game were under-inflated by 2 lbs each, per league sources.
CHEATRIOTS.

SMDH.....
Apparently, the Ravens are also making the same complaint.
Tuck rule (Yes, I put it on them), Spy-Gate and now this nonsense?

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
Didn't the balls get passed off to a ref to inspect every 4 seconds?
Would like to hear an official NFL ruling or whatever on this because it sounds bogus. Luck was crap all night anyway.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
This is only a case because it's the Pats. Rodgers even claims they over inflate the balls, but no one thought that was a problem. Overblown case because it's a slow news week. Spygate was also overblown and stupid, gave no advantage at all, and was only illegal for some weeks.
Also blaming the tuck rule on pats? Yeah, clearly just looking for reasons to hate.
The balls were also corrected in the half. Pats dominated after..

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
I fail to see how spygate gave no advantage. If that was the case, why were they doing it? Also, as dmize as pointed out before, the Patriots haven't won a championship after the fact. Whether these tactics are effective or not, it shows me that the Patriots lack class/respect.

Can't believe people actually buy the crap that spygate is the reason we haven't won.
Yeah, we've only been to two Super Bowls since then.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
It's merely an opinion, just like your opinion. Where there is smoke, there is usually fire. I don't think it's a coincidence that the Patriots keeping themselves in the midst of controversy.
No one is claiming it is THE reason, but I'm inclined to say it would be foolish to say it isn't part of the reason.

If you actually knew what you were talking about, you'd know that filming signals wasn't illegal until 2006. So the Super Bowls are irrelevant in this case. But again, like all others, you think spygate was some spy mission behind closed doors.

Oh FFS

Clearly it didn't effect the result and no one is insinuating that. So why do they do they keep doing this stuff.
Re: NFL Thread Part 2
I don't remember the country sh*tting it's pants when Aaron Rodgers said he liked over-inflating balls beyond league regulation and seeing if officials caught on.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
tbh, I have no idea why they did it with the balls. The Colts are awful anyways, so it must be some kind of habit. It's probably something most teams do. Aaron Rodgers has even said that they fill their ball up more than the limit. Then the referee let's air out of them. No controverse there for Green Bay. I don't get how a harder football gives less advantage than a flatter.
I only see this getting blown out of proportion is because it's the Patriots doing it. Everyone does it.
Also Jimmy Johnson and Erik Mangini both said that spygate didn't really have any impact. Jimmy Johnson himself declined to do it, because he deemed it to be a waste of time.
I seriously don't understand why this is even a case. Balls are deflated every game since they put a max on the pressure.

Also Colts player writes on twitter that it's not even newsworthy...
Dwayne Allen
@NFLonFOX not a story. They could have played with soap for balls and beat us. Simply the better team. We have to continue to build! #BTM
