At least Napoleon was complex and not good or evil, a gray character with his own agendas. AC2 was excellent for it's time and of course it won't feel good now, it was released 6 years ago lol. No nostalgia, it had the best story and nearly got everything whichw as wrong in AC1 right. Revelations had a good story (Altair's ending ) even though it was a re-skin of Brotherhood. Speaking of Brotherhood that had the best story out of all the games and added cool new gameplay elements (the recruitable Assassins you can use) and have the best side missions of the series.

I did say that Unity has great gameplay, customization and setting. I did say it is a good game. What I expected was a game that could be at least nearly as good as Black Flag was.

How could you tell he was complex from like one cut scene lol, tbh you could say that was a major minus of the game that it mainly focused on Elise and Arno and didn't develop the other characters all that much.

I'll agree with that, but personally it didn't take away from my enjoyment of going through the story.

I don't represent the viewpoint that the supporting cast where boring and lifeless, could their stories have been more in-depth and their characters developed further as seen with Napoleon?  Sure but this wasn't Connor level lol.

But I found them interesting when they actually spent time on them, like Bellec for example who was good and much better than Napoleon's two sentences which showed nothing about his character.

Agreed. Game would have benefitted more if he had more scenes.

From a story perspective i can see why a lot of fans were left disappointed, they had a wrong expectations that this game was going to explain everything about the revolution.

But the history is just the background and not part of the story. Its a love story, with the French Revolution happening around it. also there is no flow to it, it just seemed to be a collection of events and people. the targets are shown for one sequence each and they aren't developed. historical figures show up for a few cut scenes and then you never see them again.

Arno isn't really involved in almost any of the major events of the French Revolution, the story does not utilize history nearly so well as AC2, AC:B, or even AC3.

i picked up the bundle with the last of us and i have a flyer to get either destiny, far cry 4 or nba 2k15. i haven't decided yet.

I'd go with Far Cry or 2K, Destiny was great but it's highly reliant on playing with friends so unless you have mates who are still playing it you won't get the most from it.

yeah, that's what i thought. ill go with Far Cry, i aint getting sports games until next fall

Did that with Fifa 15. Firenze posted it last year.

usually I only bother doing it for games that I want to play that release 3 days early in the US. Probably doing it with The Order though next week.

Am I doing something wrong with this US account thingy? Everytime I try to buy something it says that the card details don't match with the billing address (obvious coz UK card)

Any idea what I'm supposed to do?

The amount of hoops you need to go through in order to buy from the US PSN store is ridiculous. It's just as bad as it was on the 360.

On Xbone, all I have to do is change my location in the settings to the US and BAM!, I can use the US store. There's no need to create a new account whatsoever, I can just change my location back and forth however much I like.

TIP for Xbone users:Hong Kong Store >>>>>>>>>>>>> US Store. You think buying from the US Store is cheap? Bruhs, the Hong Kong store is even cheaper.

Can someone explain to me why The Order 18293923 is getting so much hate? I haven't seen this much hate for a game since Destiny. Everytime I see the game get mentioned on any forum everyone just starts bashing it.

I know people aren't happy with some remarks the head developer of the game made, and how the game seems to be more of a movie than a game, but surely it doesn't deserve the amount of vitriol that's been thrown it's way?

What makes it worse is that much of the hate is coming from Sony fans, which make's it even more puzzling.

I don't get it either, seems like a story driven cinematic shooter. Even if it is linear who cares? Bioshock was linear as *bleep* and no one hates on that.

Gonna get it personally and looking forward to it.

The US store only accepts US billing addresses, since you have a UK card and you've entered a US address, the address on the PSN store doesn't match the address linked to your bank card.

Just buy a US $50 card from pcgamesupply (digital delivery) and and add the funds, its a pain but what else can you do

Not gonna bother with it, bank just called me and asked me about it. I denied it all and told them to cancel my card in case someone is trying to use my card lol.

I buy $50 digital PSN cards via Amazon US

I think I'm renting The Order btw, if it doesn't arrive on release I'll just buy it, reading it's about 7-9 hrs long and very linear and cutscene heavy, which I don't mind, I actually feel that will be a decent amount of time, I just don't want to pay full price for it.

How do you go about that without being questioned for fraud lol.

I never got questioned and i used my Lloyds Bank card to purchase $50 US card
