To the fans and my teammates I will be forever grateful for the support they have given me but in mid-December the manager, Alan Pardew, told me that it was best for me to get a new club... And he told me this barely 20 days after I had recovered and when the only thing I wanted was to train and regain fitness. While I knew that it would take a lot of effort to re-earn a place in the squad, I never complained about my lack of minutes. That's why I will never forgive him. Anyways, I'd like to believe he did it for footballing reasons and not otherwise...

So not only is Pardew a crap manager and a fraud but also a horrible human being.

Good for him. Not here to hijack the thread but I had the same exact thing.. Was diagnosed with Stage1... had surgery to remove it, chose to do surveillance and monitoring..then about a year later it came back in my lymph nodes. Had a massive, 5-hour long surgery to remove my lymph nodes:

RPLND Scar

Then after that it was a 60% chance I was cured but chose to do 2 cycles of Chemo to move it up to a 99% chance. I finished chemo about 2 months ago and because of the RPLND surgery + chemo I lost about 15lbs.. I am still recovering but playing football and lifting again and working at an awesome new job. It changes your life and you don't look at anything the same way afterwards.. but I don't really regret the experience and i'm sure Jonas will look back at it years from now and know that it made him a stronger person.
