anubis is the only map I ever play symmetra on

Hollywood on defense is absolute cancer, cant penetrate the last point at all, especially if the defending team knows what its doing

tbh majority of maps favor defense

hanamura and anubis are by far the worst

I would put Volskaya above Hanamura for defensive favouring. What counters Mei? Stop being a scrub. She's such short range...

3+ aggressive mei's on capture maps like ilios is hell, especially that one where there isn't many openings around the objective area

I see Volskaya taken probably 4/10 times, Hanamura like 2/10

McCree will do well against Mei. From medium range he will destroy her unless the Mei is more accurate with her icicles (a fight McCree should win). Close up as long as you get the flashbang off, she's dead. In the situation with multiple Mei's, I think a Pharah and McCree combined with whoever else you have should be sufficient, tracer too if the tracer is good

Agreed with Volskaya. That map is terror for attacking teams in my experience. Symmetra on that map is

Volskaya you can flank on the left though (if you are attackng), if you split and half the team go left and the other goes in the middle, you can penetrate

The thing that's hell about Volskaya is that there's always a Symmetra with teleporter up (as I'm usually the one xD) and because of the layout it's so easy for the defending team to regain ground and recover (even more so for the final point); it's why it's piss easy to defend in pugs as well; defenders can't go off and do their own thing; they have to defend.

I have yet to see a Volskaya offensive win in 6v6 - that's why I rate it so highly - I've seen Hanamura and Anubis (although Anubis is pretty hellish as well - I've only seen a couple of wins) wins in 6v6.

Usually because I think we need a healer who can revive. I don't mind using her, though. I swear, we had a bunch of snipers in many of those matches. Hanzo is such a popular character.

that was a pretty rocky session, mostly from poor character choices from randoms and sometimes us IMO

but tbh I had been playing for like 3 hrs so got a bit meh and just played with chars i felt like using

tbh I'm not sure if I like or dislike the fact that there isn't much difference between winning and losing, IIRC there's like 500xp difference max, i'm happy just lvling up and having fun tbh

hope they eventually do stuff so you get 25 credits for getting play of the game/winning

There should be some reward for getting play of the game and x5 vote and stuff like that tbf

yeah although as people have pointed out before play of the game is kinda not that indicative of what it's supposed to be atm, like you could have a clutch Lucio play that wins you the game and not get it, it goes to the highest damage output IIRC. but they definitely need to stop being stingy with credits/lootboxes.
