CL: Juventus 3 vs Olympiakos 2

Just watched the game, a very positive performance compared to Juve's recent outings. The game should have been done and dusted on the scoreboard long before Vidal missed that penalty, but still unnerving that Olympiacos now hold the head to head record. At least your destiny is in your own hands now though.

I am more than sure that we are capable of beating Atl.

If we beat Malmo we are automatically in, right?

And I didn't watch the game but how the hell did we let up two goals to Olympiakos? It really seems like this was an unconvincing win....

Guys, I searched it already. .. if we are tying in points, GD is what matters! And look at the website I sent frok uefa... We are second and have equal points as olympi. And who said that we will loose home to atleti!?

I liked the way Vidal played, but I think he needed better finishing yesterday. I think maybe next time I'd put Pogba in CAM, because I feel as though he has a good skillset to play there.

I'm pretty sure it's head to head first.
For example, last year Viktoria Plzeň had as many points as CSKA Moscow, but Viktoria Plzeň had a goal differential of -11, while CSKA Moscow had a goal differential of -9, but Viktoria Plzeň ended up coming third while CSKA was 4th because of their head to head. So even though they both had 4 goals against each other, Viktoria Plzeň had 2 away goals while CSKA had 1.

If two or more teams are equal on points on completion of the group matches,
the following criteria are applied to determine the rankings (in descending
order):
a) higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the
teams in question;
b) superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams
in question;
c) higher number of goals scored in the group matches played among the
teams in question;
d) higher number of goals scored away from home in the group matches
played among the teams in question;
e) if, after having applied criteria a) to d), teams still have an equal ranking,
criteria a) to d) are reapplied exclusively to the matches between the
teams in question to determine their final rankings. If this procedure does
not lead to a decision, criteria f) to h) apply;
f) superior goal difference from all group matches played;
g) higher number of goals scored from all group matches played;
h) higher number of coefficient points accumulated by the club in question,
as well as its association, over the previous five seasons (see
paragraph 9.02)
