Great talent. Used him to win Division 4 and 3 on fifa. Very fast and a good shot on him.
United made a good signing.

I don't know why Liverpool fans thought Depay would reject higher wages and CL football to go to Liverpool tbh.
He was always going to United imo.

also man u have LVG who he knows well. but tbh im not bothered as a Liverpool fan. the guy has a good goal record this season. but he is more a winger than a striker. Liverpool need a proper striker imo. man u have a few good strikers already so he is more a player thay need.RealGunner wrote:I don't know why Liverpool fans thought Depay would reject higher wages and CL football to go to Liverpool tbh.

Jury very much out on him TBF. Doesn't beat defenders regularly. Yet to see him display any real pace. Best attribute aside from his ball striking seems to be strength. Like a swollen Mata. Not too excited quite honestly, especially if it means we're selling Nani.

Only once did he square up a defender and go by him in that video. Didn't show any top level pace either. And those are Dutch League highlights, FFS.
A few classy strikes amongst a bunch of scrappy and/or fortuitous goals thanks to shambolic defending. Depressing.

You need to lighten up, and no offence, need to get out more if something like that is 'depressing' to you.
He's 21, has room to improve, just came back off a 21 goal, title winning season where he was the main man, has the tools to succeed in the prem( Primarily Pace & strength) and is hungry and determined to work under a manager who knows him well....AND, we only paid £18m for him.
No need for all this negativity, huge overreaction. Let's give the kid a chance.

LOL legit every goal scored that isn't a free kick in that video is a result of his pace.

Still does in the PL and CL. Vs us he really seemed like he had eaten too many burgers.

Memphis is not someone that has top end pace/acceleration but makes up for it with his spacial recognition, movement off the ball and trickery. He can beat guys one on one but it won't often be with just pace. His best attributes are his killer instinct and shot for sure. His shot especially is dangerous from just about anywhere.

His pace is good but hemail doesn't have that close control of players like Robben, Thiago Messi and Hazard.
