How has Sterling been good?
First few games of the season yes, since KDB arrival he has been garbage.

argentina players seen to do great in spain but are hit and miss at best in England. most top Spanish players stay in spain. and the dutch have exported more top players than france. even Germany don't export many top players they seen to stay in Germany. for the size of the country and the population the dutch give the world more talent than anyone imo.farfan wrote:Unique wrote:what a crazy thing to say. when it comes to exporting top talent the dutch are only beaten by brazil.ES wrote:An Eerieedivisie talent not cutting it outside Holland, shocking.
huh ? ever heard of this place called Argentina ? Spain and France have surpassed them in recent years too .

A bit of an out there crazy idea but imo we should consider it.

I have seen enough of him to conclude he is a pleb. Martial on the other hand is legit. You don't need to watch 200 games when you are a proven expert like me.

The Eredivisie still exports a huge number of players. Nationality doesn't matter.

true. but you have to give it to the dutch. for a small county with a small population the talent they produce is crazy.zigra wrote:The Eredivisie still exports a huge number of players. Nationality doesn't matter.

Overall yes. Last few years have been poor though, you have to admit. A lot of average (and some good)players have been produced but there's a lack of top players from the generation that came after Robben/Sneijder/.... however it's only been a few poor years and I guess every country has spells like that. The next generation looks very promising once again.

His problem is he can't dribble or pass. His crossing, movement & finishing is very good though. He has a high goalscoring potential but he'll never be elite with his stiff dribbling & lack of close control.

Re: Memphis Depay - Future Flop, now a MC
Can he play better as a center forward ? from what we have seen of him, he sure has the knack of getting into good positions and has a good shot in him. May be its better of to put him there ? As a creator he sure lacks the necessary attributes its clear so far. Make him the backup to Marziaaal and dump rooney, or put rooney wide.
I personally think he will come good with time. may be not as good as many of our fans expect him to, but still good. Right now though he doesnt deserve to start. We can only carry so many passengers in a team ffs. Not more than 1. Its like a 19 year old kid has to do the job of 3 players upfront. Will have to drop either him or rooney for sure. Heart says rooney but head says it has to be Depay. Rooney imo will play better in the wide position right now. Memphis has been abysmal pretty much so far expect in the odd game here and there.

I've been saying for a long time that the only position Memphis has a chance of being elite in is as a striker. He doesn't have the speed or control to be an elite winger (though certainly his shot and positioning are very good).
I'm glad that United are not playing a two striker system with Martial and Memphis together. They would complement eachother really well.

16.8 million is a small population?Well, I guess it is compared to the other top footy nations.
that's twice the population of Portugal , a country with 3 Ballon d'or winners .

If you were Depay's ex-teammate from Eindhoven, what would you text him right now?

Looks worse than pedro. Bottom table EpL clubs scouts better than the top teams it seems.

Where are those quotes of him talking about being the new Ronaldo again
