He looks a player in decline. Not only does he disrupt every attacking play we do, he looks lethargic and not arsed.

He has robbed Di Maria of some beautiful assists that would have graced the highlight reels for years and years. He layed glorious chances for him on a plate v Burnley, Leicester, QPR, tonight. ffs

Falcao would have buried those chances.

We all know LVG is in love him.....and that means he will start and finish every game, unless he is not fit...and then I think LVG would still start him. smh

Although Berbatov has even better technique than RVP (when it comes to close control and striking the ball). Berbatov could still look great even when he had physically nothing on defenders. Van Persie is the wrong side of 30 now and his very good technique isn't quite good enough to make up for declining physique.

I'd actually take Welbeck over RVP today because he does a whole lot more than play the scorer... I don't feel that RVP is a better scorer than him now.

Arsenal's problem is not CF although that's what everyone keeps thinking. It's very inconsistent midfield play and injured/off form CBs.
