Daredevil got to be the best super hero tv series. Holy sh.. The lead actor, setting, story.. Speechless. Only watched 3 episodes and it's already better than Shitrow & Flash :bow:

So I've been watching The Vampire Diaries because my girlfriend insisted that I should watch it and it's not bad, it's actually enjoyable, but it's so damn similar to Smallville it's *bleep* unbelievable.
Replace the vampire thing with the kryptonian thing and everything is almost the same. The characters behaviors, the interactions between the characters, the main love story, the music, even the dialogues and the locations are almost identical.

I've also been watching a finnish tv series named Nymphs in order to improve my finnish and I find it not bad despite having a 4.7/10 rating on imdb.

I was going to watch House of Cards too but I got spoilered badly so just nah. The first two episode looked really good tho.

Films like Fargo, No country for Old men, Man who wasnt there, Barton Fink etc.
If so, this will be a treat for you.

But then i also agree its kinda an acquired taste.

Watched the pilot. Quite good. Accent and New Zealan slangs are a bit funny though.

I assume it's basically like how a kiwi would watch Inbetweeners.

Binged this show last year.... Really enjoyed it.... Only kiwi show I've seen.... Took a couple of episodes till I could forget about their accent lol

Only problem I had with the show was the last couple episodes of the final season.... Sloppy writing, butchered it hard IMO.

Yeah Keisha Castle Hughes was a big draw for me with this show as she was the only name I recognized (primarily from Whale Rider and Game of Thrones).

What's interesting is that New Zealanders appear to sound like Aussies, but talk like Brits Laughing
