Re: Rafael Benitez Sack Watch - Madrid Edition
Impossible to blame anyone else since Flo is protected by the media and socios, and Bale is under Flo's protection. Benitez is just another puppet who will take the fall for Florentino's choices...

Re: Rafael Benitez Sack Watch - Madrid Edition
If Benitez is to jeopardize winning in order to appease Perez over 1 player, then he is an idiot and deserves to be fired.
Bale is just the scape goat when the entire team apart from Marcelo looked like they couldn't care less about winning that match.
It has been this way all pre-season.

How does it make you feel to know that if Madrid ever decide to get rid of Bale, Woodward will be there to offer 100M pounds? (:

Re: Rafael Benitez Sack Watch - Madrid Edition
Despite the amount of posts about him, Bale wasn't the problem tonight anyways.
Back to the topic at hand. Benitez has got to be a moron if he thinks RM have the players to make a 4-2-3-1 work.
We don't have a clear striker, AM's who don't track back, CM's who have little to no defensive attributes, and 2 Wingbacks.
What kinda idiot looks at that and says that's a winning formula?

Calma Billionmillion. Of course you're right. It isn't the players' fault. But Rafa wanted everyone to stand in two groups far apart from eachother, I get it. Not the fact that Bale, Jesé and Ronaldo all seek the same area and there's no diversity in playing styles that result in a clogged up area in the middle.
But keep blaming Benitez, Barcalearning.

Re: Rafael Benitez Sack Watch - Madrid Edition
Real has the best squad in the world. It's the manager's fault for not properly preparing the gameplan or giving instructions.
Or maybe i'm overestimating their abilities and they're actually THAT stupid. (:
Also, don't be mad. It can be worse.

freeza is right though its not rafa fault, that bale,cr,jese and isco all drifting into the same area, players are doing that on their own.

That sounds like something he would say.
Also you're overestimating their overall positioning. They all have the same patterns and places they occupy, especially Bale, Ronaldo and Jesé. None of them wants to play out wide and with James out, there is no intelligent wide player on our team. Benitez doesn't really have a choice in this matter. But I hope he realizes how serious this is, and that this line-up doesn't work.
