Re: Rafael Benitez Sack Watch - Madrid Edition
I never understood why they got him in the first place but it's better to fix that mistake fast instead of waiting for something to happen that we all know won't happen anyway.
Good riddance.

Well it's funny watching you sack coaches when the problem lies elsewhere, I can point it with one finger. And you still repeat the same mistake over and over again.chad4401 wrote:Harmonica wrote:5 points of Barcelona, CL R16 as group winners, sacked in January. When do Madrid ever learn?
could you shut up when the last the team sacked a manager in january? reaching for laughs so hard.

Pretty sure you can't point everywhere with a single finger.

So, Gary Neville went to Spain to get Benitez sacked, gotta admit that's a cool story when you consider their Man United and Liverpool statuses

Maybe it's time they get rid of Flo.
And I'm going to lol hard if Zidane can't get them playing gorgeous football again (when did they last play gorgeous football, anyway?)

But...but...Nick09 said it'll work when Rafa was appointed. "runs away crying"
Jokes aside, is there a coach that can make out of Madrid a solid team with foundation to achieve great results for more than a year?

Yet somehow Madrid have scored the most goals in La Liga and have the best goal-difference

There should be more talk about how good the squad really is. Not all of their big names are that special, imo.

Re: Rafael Benitez Sack Watch - Madrid Edition
the thing is rafa would have finished 2nd to barca this season. and so would any other manager that went to madrid. what flo and madrid fans are to dumb to see is barca are just to good for madrid no matter who is in charge. madrid fans need to understand that barca are now the big boys in spain its as simple as that.

Re: Rafael Benitez Sack Watch - Madrid Edition
Benitez did a poor job. Halfway into the season, Madrid's offensive and defensive positional play is awful. I mean the amount of 5-0-5 pics during his tenure is laughable. They struggled against every midtable team and lost to every top team. And he lost the dressing room. A dressing room that has some of the best players in the world and is filled with a bunch of egos. It's not like Benitez was ever a great man manager, but their was really no way going back.

Re: Rafael Benitez Sack Watch - Madrid Edition
i'm saving my post for later....but i just want to point out, 3 losses in spain, especially to your direct rivals is like a death sentence. england is different, because you expect the leaders to have a poor game here and there and even with a 7 point gap, its still possible to overtake. for Real madrid, barcelona, and to an extent atleti, a draw is like a loss. so you can't always use the "its only 3 losses measurement". its even worse with the losses and a poor head to head record, little things like that determine the title. goal difference doesn't matter you can score 200 goals, if the closest team has a better head to head record than you, all things being equal, they'll win the league. and madrid hasn't beaten a direct rival or a big team so far

that's why we made change and challenge, cant never understand a will of succumb to mediocre for the rest of the season. or in your saying, we should just wait barca become weak next decade? is this how u roll when saf in charge of manutd?

the most stupid thing about this is the fact they replaced rafa with Zidane.
