really ??
then why he is he starting internationals in ever positions when they have better younger players in their squad itself. for eg, Zouma > Cahill, let alone the 30+ young players who have a contract with them and yet are finding themselves playing in some crap team some place else. Are all these players shite? There must be at least one player if not more who can play better than the likes of Willian and Mikel. And yet they cant get into the team for the sole reason that MOU doesnt want them. And whenever they are in need of strengthening, instead of looking into their loanees they always go for established names. Reus being the latest.
Mou will look at young players, who know when? When they are absolute beasts and sure starters for their NTs. Courtois for example.
He is a success driven egomaniac who doesnt give a shit about young players and their careers. Its only about him and his CV alone when it comes to mourinjo.
Calma. He didn't renew Lampard's contract despite knowing that he would joined City and immensely improved City and given them points by his own and therefore increasing the risks of Chelsea not winning the PL and ruining his CV because he's building for the future.
He benched one of the greatests legends and the greatest Chelsea goalkeeper of all time at his peak for someone 10 years younger because he's building for the future.
He bought a teenager CB and not a proven and old CB in Zouma planning that he would start in his second season like he did with Varane to give him time to adapt to England and his defensive schemes and because he likes to have a stable back 4 and not change it in the middle of the season especially if it's working because he's building for the future.

Right, Lampard signed for city directly from chelsea.

Do you even know what you are talking about. I will leave you at that. Ponder.

This is getting funnier. And then I heard someone calling Katy Perry as one of the best posters in the forum.

Mate, if Mourinho wouldnt have done that, Thibout Courtois would have simply left for Atleti. Mou and the whole of Chelsea hierarchy was under immense pressure. if he had chosen to play the so called greatest player of yours even this season, you would have lost one of the greatest young gks for years to come just like that. And for the record Courtois is already better than Cech. Nothing to give mounjo credit there. There was no other choice for him.

and this. Based on nothing but sheer assumption. way to go bruh. Keep it coming , posts like these.

You might be saying this after seeing Zouma start in a couple of games recently, right ? But thats only because of realizing Cahill is nowhere near the level required.
So basically mourinho starts younger players only when he realizes theres no other alternative for him. Watch him going out and signing a new PROVEN CB in the summer window and shove Zouma yet again as the 3rd choice, unless of course he makes it big in the NT before that.

I guess he was not so amused when he heard that Bayern pays the kids only some pocket money, even though that is probably better for their development.
(e.g. Gianluca Gaudino allegedly gets only 250 Euros per month as was reported: http://www.tz.de/sport/fc-bayern/bayern-maurizio-gaudino-spricht-ueber-seinen-sohn-gianluca-3850425.html )

Gaudino has signed a professional contract couple months ago, since then I suppose he earns a few hundred thousand a year now

well that is very good policy from Bayern and it is the same with Schalke too. I dont support at all about paying the kids below 16-17 more than few hundred €

i must say, the amount of jelly fans of teams, who were once begging this kid to sign for their teams, are now showing, has been the most enjoyable part of this whole thing.

Once again, you're not worth your ability. You're worth what you can negotiate. 10+ teams were after him and Real "won".
Finally a Scandinavian Madrid player

Re: Martin Ødegaard - Welcome to Arsenal
Seems a dumb choice since he won't play and Madrid doesn't have that great of a track record developing youth.
Should've gone to Bayern or AC "masters of youth development" Milan

We have a magnificent record of developing youth players. Giving them chances, and them taking it is more of a risk. Some times it pays off, some times it don't. But once again this myth will prevail.

Re: Martin Ødegaard - Welcome to Arsenal
Developing might be a bad word since you do develop excellent young players. Having said that, your track record with young and promising signings like this is terrible. Illarramendi is a perfect example.
Carlo won't trust Odegaard and Perez will keep buying Galacticos ahead of him in the pecking order.

Ilarramendi is a horrible example... Unless your definition of a young promising player is a 23+ year old already established player. Benzema was younger when we signed him, so was marcelo, ramos, carvajal, varane, isco, higuain, Özil etc.
A perfect example would be.... wait what??? Canales? the guy who injured all the time.

Besides Carvajal, which player from your youth team came actually through to a starting spot in the last 5-10 years, though?

I fail to see how that's relevant. Castilla is our B-team, not youth team. Ødegaard is not going to play in a youth setup. Jesé also played a very big role in the squad before getting injured. We've developed bunch of good players.
Edit: leaving changed to injured.
