Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V3
I was saying in pre-season that I fancied Arsenal for the title
That was during the Carvalho rumours / during believing they're going to get a proper DM and a CB.
On the other hand I was calling City's downfall and it's only the other top teams' failures that have made City look as good as they are at the 3rd place. Aguero is looking capable of carrying them, though.
I would be rooting for Southampton so hard if we didn't buy three of their players in the summer only to be disappointed with them

Art, Lallana hasnt impressed you?
Bit surprised by that. I think he's looked OK everytime Ive seen him. Def not as bad as the other 2.

Are you kidding me RED, massive disappointment for 25m so far. Scored a great goal and had 2 decent performances. That's it. He's shown to be an average passer and outside of his dribbling can't create to save his life. Haven't see him hit a single throughball on point yet. Been Brendan's marquee signing and for some reason he trust him him at all
We'd all love to see more of him since the starting XI at the moment is absolutely shit.

He hardly plays tbf, should start in front of the vastly inferior Coutinho tbh

if he can put a pass 5 yards away, he will be surely better than Coutinho. But he cant or at least not doing so as of now

He's shown me nothing to be considered better than Coutinho.
Coutinho has been our best player for the past or two.

LOLlana does not hold a candle to Coutinho as most of us (Red Alert & I) were quick to write his absurd signing off, and our notions were right. Hasn't proven us wrong. Stewart Downing signing 2.0.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V3
I think the best Liverpool could do right now is if they change their system to fit in Lambert and Lallana.
So what I'm basically saying is that they should build the team around these two and then they will play really good. Could see them thriving with something like that. A focal point in Lambert upfront, and Lallana playing in a role similar to what he did at Southampton.
But that's just me, and I could be wrong, and it's a terrible tragedy.

Yes that great Coutinho who was responsible for Chelsea's 2nd goal and done nothing all season and quite frankly based on last season showed nothing to suggest he's better than Lallana.
Lallana has hardly played but he deserves a chance, Lord knows there's plenty of Liverpool players who have overstayed their welcome.
Stay delusional though, continue to defend average performances thinking it will be all ok.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V3
ynwa: Will do soon, buddy.
Coutinho has been one of our small group of players who has been doing anything.
I have already spoken in the LFC section that Lallana has been devoid of chances and has come off an injury over the summer yet that does not rule out the signing was exorbitantly overpriced for a player who isn't worth anywhere near that price. We never wanted over the summer and his presence on the field is a mere formality to rectify his price tag.
Coutinho on the other hand has a higher ceiling by miles, produces more on paper and off and just is a better player.
What delusion?
Where have I defended average performances?
Where have I said that 'it'll all be ok?"

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V3
Cesc was absolutely raped defensively in his zone by Coutinho and Can in that game. If not for Matic next to him he would be a laughing stock in there defensively. But no Moal would never say anything bad about Cex because he's great and he doesn't need to defend because that's not his job.
Coutinho should be a defensive midfielder, goalkeeper and center back at the same time as scoring more goals than Messi to be rated by him

Yeah, I noticed. There was one moment in the game where Henderson was pressing some other guy, Chelsea kept the ball and Henderson started running pretty much to the opposite direction from where the action was and I was like "what's he doing?". He went to man-mark Fabregas.

Yeah, not too sure why Coutinho is getting credit for Hendo's work lol.
Coutinho is better than Lallana, mind. Just not too sure why you'd make up facts to get point across.
Are you serious?

Nah man, Arsenal are suffering from a lack of organisation, lack of identity in style of play, bad planning and a combination of it all better known as Wengeritis.
