Also, Liverpool would have saved about 20 wasted minutes if they had cut out that nonsense haplessly trying to pass their way out of Chelseas pressing.
They are not equipped to do that.
They end up losing the ball anyway, just in their own half after 3 'passes', instead of being able to go for a second ball in Chelseas half.

Chelsea are such an incredibly dislikable team. Divers, cheaters, foulers, and Mourinho at the helm.
Sadly the rest of the PL top teams are such a sorry bunch they make this mediocre Chelsea side look unbeatable

A deserved defeat, Chelsea were better and had more intention to their game than we did.

Liverpool will be kicking themselves for losing this one, they were well on top and allowed Chelsea back into it. Kind of jealous of the spirit of this Chelsea team ,full of players who are prepared to graft, fight and get stuck in.

We should be relegated to the Conference. Maybe then Rodgers can outwit some Sunday league managers and earn his money. A football manager player would have put out a better team with better tactics and made better substitutions than he did.

It was a Liverpool better than other times imo , , if they would have played in this way other times they would have more points for me . I didn' t see a performace totally negative considering also the opponent tbh. i have seen some improvement, the first goal is typical action made by old Liverpool. They must surely improve but Sturridge represents the gold for them . Maybe even more important than the gold.

Saints are on a ridiculous run of good form.
Serious contenders for top 4, and deserve to be taken seriously now.
11 points clear of LFC despite losing key players to Liverpool
sorry, had to get that dig in

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V3
while Leicester 4 loss in a row
They seemed direct for a good league , they played good football and they got results.
but this fable is just eneded and they are officially sucked in relegation battle. I wish it to revive

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V3
Southampton have had a pretty kind run of games, though. In their last six games, they've played QPR, Sunderland, Stoke and Leicester at home, and Hull away. Credit to them for playing with great consistency, but they did this last year, too.
They've gone to Liverpool and Spurs and have lost both. Soon they play City, Arsenal and Man Utd consecutively. Let's see how they do in that period before labelling them as top four contenders.
