Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V3
Adel Taarabt about three stone overweight - Harry Redknapp
"I can't protect people who don't want to run and train, and are about three stone overweight," said Redknapp.
"Taarabt is not injured. He's not fit. He's not fit to play football unfortunately."
Redknapp, 67, added: "He played in a reserve game the other day and I could have run about more than he did. I can't pick him.
"What am I supposed to keep saying? Keep getting your £60,000, £70,000 a week and don't train? What's the game coming to?
"I pick people who want to try, who deserve to be at a good football club like QPR, who come in every day and want to work, train and show a good attitude. When he starts doing that, if he ever can do it, maybe he'll get a game."

talk to me when you're above us in the league...I can't hear you now
barely beat a team we beat 4-0 and liverpool fans said "it was only QPR"
This is the stupidest logic I've ever read.
It's like saying
We beat you 3-0 last season at Old Trafford, you drew Bayern 1-1 at Old Trafford, thereby means we will beat Bayern 4-1.
This was the best match QPR have played in 3 years under Redknapp and 'Arry said it himself Don't take anything away from them, they deserved all the points in this match.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V3
Maybe im harsh but during that QPR-Pool game I was disgusted by the niavity of QPR.
They just got back in the game via Vargas, they win a freekick...awful, awful delivery and its cleared by Pool. First of all, I dont know why QPR have that many people in the box and allowing themselves to be countered from a FK.
In any event, Sterling picks it up in the midfield and you can the instant danger there. Karl Henry has to foul Sterling right there on the half way line, instant danger, take the yellow card and get everyone back..instead he flaps about and gets owned. One pass later, goal.
Sorry, but this wouldnt happen in La Liga. The players are too cynical and there is no way you allow a player like Sterling to run at you on a counter. Hold him, kick him, trip him..whatever, take the yellow. Just so naive.
The list of errors
-Too many players committed to a the set peice
-Poor delivery
-Players not positioned well to stop a counter
-Allows Sterling to turn
-Doesnt foul Sterling
Cant happen. Maybe its harsh, whatever, but as soon as Sterling picked the ball up I said out loud "gotta foul him, NOW". 5 seconds later, goal.
Similar happened with the winner, got countered, too many men forward pushing for a winner when a point would of been a great result. Harder to foul Sterling in that situation, nobody was ever near him but still.

this is a good sign though. It shows mid table and lowers wont be anymore giving a damn about the so called 'might' of liverpool and will be eying full quota of points when they face them.
And also to set the records straight QPR indeed is shite. Now all of a sudden since they made a match of this one, they are talked/hyped about here as a side which is tough to beat at their home by some Alice in Wonderland Pool supporters.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V3
theres a difference.
That phase of ours is almost over, I agree though, not fully. It was last season under moyes lower league teams entertained chances of walking away with points when they faced us. Now that fear factor has somewhat restored (now dont tell me PL teams do not fear ADM and falcao) .
where as in your case first with the sale of bitey and now with your performance in the recent weeks, other teams have started to smell blood, so I'm afraid that phase has just begun. So see theres a difference.
( I want more smileys. Please the developers of this forum take not. The available ones are too limited and have become boring. )

Dunn not paying attention for the first goal conceded
The lacklustre peformance by Austin and Fer
Leroy Fer in the last min deciding to tamely chip it to the Pool defenders instead of passing it and keeping the ball
Redknapp deciding not to start Vargas, who made an instant impact when he came on
Conclusion: QPR players score 4 goals in a match, concede one, and still end up losing. QPR
They'll get relegated hopefully.

Luke Shaw or him will make a mistake first for either side. Both looking garbage.
Berahino needs to be called up ahead of Lambert next England international.

Fellaini coming on for Herrera in the start of the second half
