GL NBA Fantasy 2014/15

That was a lot of fun. I had a near scare, but made it right on time!

Anyway, even though I asked everyone who they were, I still don't know half the teams. Can we get whoever created this thread to edit the first post to include a list of team/member?

depends. I only really want to trade a PG/G, not a C

Pekovic and the Wolves have come to a deal to help him overcome injuries. He will play 27 minutes a game this season, leaving at least 21 Dieng minutes. So I guess while not starting, its good news for Dieng

But I dont really have a shot blocker either but Noah. Favors and Hill's 1 each a game likely wont cut it.

Gonna have as many blocks first week as I had last season tbh.

Went mad and put Rondo, Holiday, Leonard, Bogut and Lopez on the trading block

Would like Rondo but aint got anything to give. My team is too top heavy for my liking compared to last year.

I like the best 8-9 alot, the rest I have no idea what they will give me.

Oh and FYI everyone outside Lebron and Dirk are available

But the thing only put me down 5 at a time.

I'm looking to be patient this season and not make so many moves. Excited for what should be a competitive season. I really like the addition of 2 teams.

I'm actually quite happy on the whole, just feel I'm lacking one more scorer.

If I took Isiah Thomas like I should have done when I took Bogut I would feel a lot more confident but as it is I feel I'm one away.

Atm it seems like I'm relying heavily on Parsons and Leonard to both average at least 18 ppg.

Taking Thomas makes me feel a little bit better about George last season. I feel confident with my bigs, but not sure about my guard situation this year.

in order to win you have to win atleast 5 of the 9 categories. A match up is a week where every game on every day of the week counts.

Not sure who the other two are, well I do but not sure which one is which.

Since this is my first time playing, can someone please explain what I have to do now? Matches start today so do I adjust my team somehow or just watch and wait?

Yeah, I mean most days you will have a group of guys playing and you can follow the stats and what the current progress of your match up is as the games are played.

Other days, you might have to make decisions to put some guys on the bench depending on who you think will have a better game/need certain categories more etc.

I cant explain well how to adjust the team to put the players you want on, but it's pretty simple once you know it.

That's your active players for tonight, basically what you want to do is have as many positions filled as possible.

See those benched players? Yeah you might want to swap them in for someone who isn't actually playing.

You can either do this on a daily basis or set the whole week up, either way it doesn't take that long.
