Carvajal is back from his injury but he is a doubt to start the game. Varane will start as Pepe is ruled out with fatigue.

Acording to Cadena Ser we will play the same midfield 3 again. Seeing as he so persists with that midfield when it obviously doesn't work hopefully they show positional improvements this time which they haven't so far

I don't know whether J Rod will be able to play against us but hopefully he can. He has started the season great (shocker Rolling Eyes

). He even takes their penalties Proud

I want to see how he fares against us. Deportivo have had a look a little difficulties scoring but we manage to make even the shittiest attack look good against us so I won't underestimate them

The score doesn't reflect entirely what happened on the pitch. But nonetheless a good performance. James, Marcelo and Kroos our best players. Illarra has to start. Arbeloa was awful despite the assist. Cuenca absolutely destroyed him.

Lol Depor were so bad

Illarra HAS to start. We nearly threw away our lead until he came on sorted out our midfield.

A 4-4-2 with Isco/Modric-Illarra-Kroos-James in midfield and Bale-Ronaldo up top looks the most solid option right now

James looks better in the centre/right than on the left. Leave Isco on the left, James on the right, Kroos and Illarra in midfield. That's an alternative to the 4-3-3/4-3-1-2 I posted before. Marcelo was freaking amazing I must say.

I agree Val, James had a great game on that right side. Although he like DiMaria is one footed so he might get found out soon but anyone over Bale should play there

Isco with another good cameo. He deserves to start over the struggling Modric. Kroos playing good again, had a more diciplined role today not venturing forward like he usually does. Glad to see improvements

Our defending is still suspect especially on the wings, there isn't enough communication between our players and they can't blame language because all of them speak spanish. Varane had a great game but made two mistakes on crosses, one went just wide of the post and one ended up in goal. Need to be more communication there in the backline. Ramos was equally at fault for the goal

The penalty was a farce but so was our third goal so I guess they cancelled eachother out

i know the game was already wrapped up but those two goals from chica were nice....i didn't expect depor to trouble us, i even got a bit upset that they scored twice....the years of 'super depor' are long gone
