You're asking a whole lot out of someone who is on semester break and didn't need to look at a calendar for the past ... 3 months. Couldn't you just have asked me to solve the quantum mechanical hydrogen atom problem or something? Much easier than memorizing complicated stuff like "what day it is".

Alonso already the boss of the team, taking corners and freekicks.

The Moscow fans behaved badly and had to be punished by UEFA.

Re: Champions League 2014/15 | Group E
well fußball, I've got news for you, my friend. Your high life is coming to an end. Mid October you'll have to go back to class. Unless you decide to skip the first week as nothing happens in the first sessions anyway.
But then, you'll have to get up early again, noon at the latest, from Tuesday to Thursday, to catch a seminar from 14-16h, "Introduction to Systemtheorie" or "The Vortex as motive of the Avantgarde", and then maybe another one after that, unless you decide to keep drinking coffee in the autumn sun instead. That is of course, if you don't have anything better to do on the day, like not get out of bed.
So better get used to it now.

Alonso has to be the best purchase of this summer by far.

Bayern a bit all over the place defensively.
And as I say it CSKA hit the post.

that's because Boateng is being rested and Dante in on a rapid decline.

I have the impression that since the Pep era, Philipp Lahm is getting more and more yellow cards.

Is that a facepalm because you are angry at Perez, or you don't agree? I am angry at Perez. So angry that I wont even watch Madrid this year (not just because of Alonso).

Actually, that needs to be changed. He has been my avatar since he was still at Ajax. Still among my favourites though, but my loyalty for RM is not dead completely. Although he will do so well so jealous.
I want things to go wrong for RM because I don't agree with our purchasing behaviour and lack of team building. There was no real magic in our CL victory, and as a long-time fan, it should have been as we had been waiting for so long.

Well, you can still watch Barca. Not trying to be a missionary or anything. You don't have to support the team. Just, maybe a little peek here and there. Of course if you like what you see there is still the option to create a new account and join as a "new" Barca supporter. That's what the Internet is for. But of course that's just theory for now. For now we're just talking about being a neutral spectator.

As a neutral supporter, I am curious to see how you will do. I haven't been posting here so much recently, but if you might remember some of my posts from a couple years ago, I think it is quite clear I can never be a Barca fan.
However, I do think you currently have a far more exciting team than RM, and I want Suarez to prove he is indeed one of the best (if not the best) of the world- so I secretly have maybe warmed up to Barca a bit.

Re: Champions League 2014/15 | Group E
Back to this group though:
I think it has to be Roma and Bayern who go through- I think Roma is going to be this year's Atleti and Dortmund. Looked really solid, but lets see tonight against a real opponent.
Bayern's looking okay, but still not capitalizing on chances enough.

Before rwo orders us to get back on topic let me say I fully understand you, mate. If I were not a Barca fan I too would dislike Real Madrid these days.
... weanwhile there is still a Bayern game on show. Still 1-0.
