waiting on press releases from both google and huawei since we don't know 100% what's happening yet and Google haven't determined exactly what will be affected

apparently current huawei phones may be good, you won't lose your app access, from what I've read, but you won't get any Android updates? IDK

future Huawei phones won't have any access to Google Play Store, Youtube App, Google Maps etc..unless you use a workaround, lot of misinformation/speculative info out there without official word yet

Hoping they come towards some settlement agreement, I just bought a mid-package consumer Huawei phone late last year and its working brilliantly. If it all goes to shit this will be a setback for me :facepalm:

yeah I'm like 8-9 months into a 2 year phone contract and really, really like the phone ffs, they make great stuff hardware and price wise, so this is annoying.

Those big ass phones are crazy. 6.4 inch screen man. I have 5.4 now and i think its too big. Waiting for Apple to release a 4-inch iphone in 2020, only rumors for now but I hope they do.

i had the iphone 6+ and it was a great phone but after 2 years it stopped taking commands. bit like my wife tbh.

Recently bought the OnePlus 7 pro phone, the speed of this phone is amazing. I have been life long iPhone user and if this phone keeps it's performance it will be hard for me to buy an iPhone again.

still have my 6s and I dropped it so many times the screen is cracked all the way across, it also landed in my bath tub full of water and it took a couple seconds before I took it out - believe it or not, its not water proof or resistant but no damage was done. This phone is indestructible.

Anything over 4,7 inches is a big nope from me though, absolutely despise those new huge bricks that dont fit in your hand.

the goddamn main purpose of a phone is to be small so that you dont have to carry a tablet in your pocket.

I'm day 1 for an iPhone SE 2 in 2020 if it ever happens. 4 inch screen all the way

I get your sentiment about big phones, i on the other hand use my phone for everything use my laptop only for work and writting.

So for me a big phone is all in one entertainment system; movies, TV, sports, and gaming.

I have oneplus 3 and have had it for like 3 years now. It's better than any samsung phone tbh. Battery is the only issue but that's been sorted with new models.

I will most likely get one of the newer oneplus phones when i do get one.

I got the Galaxy S10e which is 5.8" now, totally perfect size for me. Anything smaller feels pointless and bigger is a bit inconvenient.

I have the S10e and like many, i prefer small phones over big ass phones that need 2 hands.

Honestly, 5.7 inches isnt that bad, can reach thumb top to bottom. Only thing lacking is the 3.3k miliamp battery

new low(er) cost iphone rumored (spring 2020) to be based on iPhone 8 which means 4,7inch

sad it's not 4,2. might as well just get the 8 then which supports wireless charging already, all depends on the price range though

I guess that's relative. I think the iPhone 11 is better, Apple has the best ecosystem and the user experience is the best on the iPhone.

Mostly goes down to personal preference if you have enough money to buy both.

I actually just picked up the Google Pixel 3. My brother has it and a friend of mine got it recently and they both really like it.

I care very little for phones (and have waited far too long to get a new one because I haven't had much money) and thus haven't upgraded for a while. Was time for me to get something new. Between their reviews, a couple short reviews I read, the price I got it for ($440 or so), I feel happy with my decision. I guess the biggest things for me are battery life and the camera. The camera on the pixel 3 is among the best around, so I don't feel disappointed there either.

Only problem is that my old SIM didn't fit, so I had to go get a new SIM card. But the Pixel isn't recognizing it, so I'll have to go back in tomorrow. Wish things just started working right away. Story of my life that switching over to anything new takes multiple days and a lot of annoyance.

Either way, I had an LG G4 for 5 years, so I don't feel like I'll even be able to be disappointed. Literally any phone I got would be a massive upgrade. I like the size too, it's really not all that big which I enjoy. Big phones can jog on

The OnePlus 7T Pro Nebula Blue looks really beautiful. I have always thought Apple takes the cake when it comes to overall beauty, but OnePlus is surely keeping the competition tight with their latest phone.

An absolute gorgeous piece of technology and it just so happens to be great performance-wise as well.
