I would choice Between X, M8 or G3

if you can wait a few more months then i would suggest that u wait till new Nexus

I have a G2 and that's been excellent. If the G3 is anything like it, I'd go for it.

How has the Sony Xperia X2 not been mentioned?

I recently got the G3 and it was riddled with bugs, felt cheap along with it not holding anything substantially long-term.

S5 wasn't attractive considering half its features are useless.

HTC One is genuinely a great phone and probably the best yet I narrowed it down to the Z2 which is completely water-proof, built far better in design and quality (than S5 and G3) and holds a 4K camera which sweetens the deal. Only problem is that ergonomically its not built to fit in your palm yet functions fantastically on a flat surface.

Out of all the smartphones I would recommend the One M8 and Xperia Z2, the latter phone being near flawless as I do not regret swapping the G3 for it.

I still don't see why this here fascination is so strong for these mobilistic devices and such

the Sony Xperia Z3 will be out in a few weeks, the successor to the Xperia Z2 that Arq was talking about

I have the Xperia Z1....excellent phone will likely buy whichever new one is out when I am ready for a new phone next year

Would get one of the Sony phones, but i hate how they look so im getting the m8

The Z3C is the smaller version of Z3 and has longer battery life, probably the best one for any Android phone

I am holding out for Nexus, if it's not good good, might get Z3C

Samsung S6 rumored to have no removable back (ie no sd card slot and removable battery) and no water protection. We'll know for sure tomorrow.

Dumb move Samsung. Looks like I'll be buying the S5 to replace my S3

phones can have SD card slots without remove able backs, Sony Xperias and HTC One both do

the SD card slot doesn't bother me nearly as much as the lack of a removable battery. That is the main reason I have stuck with samsung in spite of an ugly UI.
