I like Batman , so i will watch Gotham . But it will have to be good , just the established background isn't enough.

The pilot got decent reviews. This show is a must watch for me as I'm a huge Batman fan.

Was a really good preview imo. Seems like a very interesting character. Never been that keen on Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin. Maybe it stems from my disliking of Batman Returns, and that horrible imagination of him.

Penguin is interesting because he is a normal guy like Bruce without any superpowers, but he is still one of the most powerful man in Gotham because of his cunning and strategic mind. Kinda like Bruce in a way.
He isn't as good a villain as joker, ras, slade but he is still extremely formidable. I haven't seen batman returns so can't say how he was presented.

Really interested to see how Fish Mooney fleshes out as a character. Apparently she is an entirely new character created for the show so I find that instantly intriguing. So many directions to take a character like that and build a full blown original storyline independent, yet still somehow parallel to the comics.

Basically, every episode in the first season will introduce a character that might be a future Joker, each emphasising aspects of the character’s iconography, a card sharp, a flower seller, a clown, or just a guy with a very big grin.
All relatively unknown actors. All potentially a Joker. But only one of them being the actual Clown Prince Of Crime.
